It was a dark and stormy night on planet Kamino. Detective Kenobi was far far away from home. He wondered to himself in the rain: why did Sifo-Dyas place an order for a clone army 10 years ago? Why was a bounty hunter named Jango Fett chosen as the clone specimen? Who deleted Kamino from the archives?
And then the film goes on to answer none of these questions.
This week Griffin and David look at the Obi-Wan Kenobi space noir story line, including, meeting 50’s diner purveyor and forensics expert Dexter Jettster, Jedi librarian Jocasta Nu, and discuss at length the logistics of a planet that specializes in cloning.

[00:00:24] [SPEAKER_01]: Hello, I'm David Sims.
[00:00:26] [SPEAKER_01]: I'm Griffin Newman, I'm keeping up the tradition through episode strong now of starting off
[00:00:30] [SPEAKER_01]: each episode with the most orally unpleasant sound I can make.
[00:00:33] [SPEAKER_01]: People literally yank the headphone out of the jack!
[00:00:37] [SPEAKER_02]: CLEARS!
[00:00:37] [SPEAKER_02]: Good.
[00:00:38] [SPEAKER_02]: Welcome to Attack Of The Podcast.
[00:00:40] [SPEAKER_02]: Dave, David, Griffin and David represent.
[00:00:41] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, so this is our podcast.
[00:00:43] [SPEAKER_02]: This is our podcast.
[00:00:44] [SPEAKER_02]: I'm checking this head and laughing at me, I don't know what our thing is called.
[00:00:46] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, it's second to podcast.
[00:00:47] [SPEAKER_01]: It's called either, it's called both.
[00:00:49] [SPEAKER_01]: It's called everyone called.
[00:00:50] [SPEAKER_01]: Just don't call me a share-lake.
[00:00:51] [SPEAKER_01]: Hey, yo, boom!
[00:00:52] [SPEAKER_02]: This is the first time we have met since.
[00:00:54] [SPEAKER_02]: One, Jake Lloyd was arrested for speeding his pod racer down, I don't know, the
[00:01:00] [SPEAKER_02]: Boon to Eve, wherever he is.
[00:01:01] [SPEAKER_01]: It was the Boon to Eve classic in South Carolina.
[00:01:04] [SPEAKER_02]: And two, you made a really, really creepy graphic of me leaning on your shoulder for this
[00:01:10] [SPEAKER_02]: podcast.
[00:01:10] [SPEAKER_02]: It's one real great.
[00:01:11] [SPEAKER_02]: It's amazing.
[00:01:12] [SPEAKER_01]: I believe we're leaning on each other shoulder.
[00:01:14] [SPEAKER_02]: I guess so.
[00:01:14] [SPEAKER_02]: I'm sort of behind you and kind of leaning on you.
[00:01:17] [SPEAKER_02]: I guess you're leaning on me.
[00:01:18] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, it's worth it.
[00:01:19] [SPEAKER_02]: So we're in twine.
[00:01:20] [SPEAKER_02]: It's the two of us as Padme and Anakin.
[00:01:22] [SPEAKER_02]: I had never seen that image before, the image you were using to put our heads on.
[00:01:28] [SPEAKER_02]: I assume it's Anakin and Padme.
[00:01:30] [SPEAKER_01]: It is.
[00:01:30] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, well, much like the graphic that I created, the opia warned winning graphic that
[00:01:35] [SPEAKER_01]: I created for the fan to win the podcast.
[00:01:37] [SPEAKER_01]: Keep on winning, opia.
[00:01:39] [SPEAKER_01]: These things I did some other things.
[00:01:39] [SPEAKER_01]: So I guess that you went off Broadway awards for these.
[00:01:42] [SPEAKER_01]: We do this podcast together, then I spin off certain elements before in the morrow.
[00:01:47] [SPEAKER_01]: That's the rattleston for one night.
[00:01:49] [SPEAKER_01]: I went for one night and I went and opened.
[00:01:50] [SPEAKER_02]: And it's actually not nice in the daytime.
[00:01:52] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, it's one day only.
[00:01:55] [SPEAKER_01]: I found the photo shoots, like the promotional photo shoots for these two films are very
[00:02:03] [SPEAKER_01]: strange.
[00:02:04] [SPEAKER_01]: They're very stilted.
[00:02:05] [SPEAKER_01]: They did a lot of promotional photo shoots where it's like two actors in front of a gray
[00:02:08] [SPEAKER_01]: background and they're kind of just like trying to represent the energy of their characters.
[00:02:12] [SPEAKER_02]: Because I'm trying to remember the promotion for this film, because as we've acknowledged
[00:02:18] [SPEAKER_02]: like ever since we remembered that this movie existed, our memories have unclouded a little
[00:02:22] [SPEAKER_02]: bit and we've remembered that we actually saw it in theaters of Bonshine, like we're fully aware
[00:02:26] [SPEAKER_02]: of its existence.
[00:02:27] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, it's all come back to us now.
[00:02:29] [SPEAKER_02]: And you know, it had that classic Star Wars poster like the Phantom and it's this sort
[00:02:32] [SPEAKER_02]: of big, painted sort of, you know, a Drew Struz and original shirt.
[00:02:37] [SPEAKER_02]: I've never heard of him but sure.
[00:02:38] [SPEAKER_01]: Oh, he's the master of the modern American movie poster.
[00:02:42] [SPEAKER_02]: But then it also had this one with like very dark with Anakin, like has his light saber
[00:02:47] [SPEAKER_02]: and he's got his back to Padme, they're not looking at each other and it's like a jet-type
[00:02:51] [SPEAKER_02]: It's an un-ever-like.
[00:02:53] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
[00:02:53] [SPEAKER_02]: Love is the last one.
[00:02:54] [SPEAKER_01]: Like a jet I can never know fear nor blank nor blank nor love.
[00:02:59] [SPEAKER_02]: And I don't remember what else.
[00:03:01] [SPEAKER_02]: So like the advertising was not exactly like a very eye catching.
[00:03:07] [SPEAKER_01]: Like it sort of makes sense to the movie that makes much money.
[00:03:10] [SPEAKER_01]: Agreed.
[00:03:11] [SPEAKER_01]: And it made a lot less money.
[00:03:12] [SPEAKER_01]: I mean, let's look at the final totals here because Phantom Manus was weirdly released
[00:03:16] [SPEAKER_01]: in three days.
[00:03:19] [SPEAKER_01]: Right.
[00:03:20] [SPEAKER_01]: Years later.
[00:03:22] [SPEAKER_01]: Yes.
[00:03:23] [SPEAKER_01]: So that we have to subtract that from the total but I think the atrically in its first
[00:03:27] [SPEAKER_01]: run in 1999, I would guess it made $430 million.
[00:03:32] [SPEAKER_01]: Okay.
[00:03:33] [SPEAKER_01]: Let's see if I'm right on this.
[00:03:41] [SPEAKER_02]: Okay.
[00:03:41] [SPEAKER_01]: So I was right on that and like attack the clones was how much $200, $300 million.
[00:03:50] [SPEAKER_02]: $300 million.
[00:03:51] [SPEAKER_01]: Okay.
[00:03:51] [SPEAKER_02]: So we have to write in the nugget but we're talking about a made 650 worldwide.
[00:03:56] [SPEAKER_01]: This is before the international market.
[00:03:58] [SPEAKER_01]: I love that we're starting out with such boring.
[00:04:00] [SPEAKER_02]: I think Phantom Manus made a billion dollars worldwide.
[00:04:02] [SPEAKER_01]: But that's also including the 3D version.
[00:04:03] [SPEAKER_01]: Fine.
[00:04:05] [SPEAKER_01]: But there's a steep drop off between the two.
[00:04:08] [SPEAKER_01]: A little bit of just I think it may be excitement being let out of the balloon.
[00:04:12] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
[00:04:12] [SPEAKER_01]: And title being attack of the clones.
[00:04:15] [SPEAKER_01]: And wasn't a professional campaign.
[00:04:17] [SPEAKER_02]: No, it's not.
[00:04:18] [SPEAKER_02]: It was not an X.
[00:04:19] [SPEAKER_02]: You were just not as there's nothing.
[00:04:21] [SPEAKER_02]: There was nothing to grab onto like what he can't fall in love.
[00:04:25] [SPEAKER_02]: Oh, let me let me try my ticket now.
[00:04:27] [SPEAKER_03]: And also that first movie was not good and people didn't want to see the second movie.
[00:04:31] [SPEAKER_01]: And those were the series of suspicions.
[00:04:32] [SPEAKER_01]: Contracial opinion from producer Ben, aka the ben-ducer, aka producer Ben, aka the Haas, aka Helophannel, aka the poet laureate, who scoop David.
[00:04:41] [SPEAKER_01]: Ooh.
[00:04:42] [SPEAKER_01]: I don't know if you know this.
[00:04:43] [SPEAKER_01]: I did...
[00:04:43] [SPEAKER_01]: Today, when we're recording this episode,
[00:04:45] [SPEAKER_01]: but you're not here for at least five days Cause we record them about a week in advance.
[00:04:49] [SPEAKER_01]: Is bump of a bump.
[00:04:51] [SPEAKER_01]: Bens birthday.
[00:04:52] [SPEAKER_01]: We today's been 10 years.
[00:04:53] [SPEAKER_01]: Today's been 10 years.
[00:04:54] [SPEAKER_03]: Oh, how do you like the band?
[00:04:55] [SPEAKER_03]: Thanks guys.
[00:04:56] [SPEAKER_03]: Oh, how old are you?
[00:04:57] [SPEAKER_03]: 30.
[00:04:58] [SPEAKER_03]: Wooow!
[00:04:59] [SPEAKER_02]: Neon it.
[00:04:59] [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
[00:05:00] [SPEAKER_03]: Yep, 30 years old.
[00:05:03] [SPEAKER_02]: So you are, what's today's?
[00:05:05] [SPEAKER_02]: Okay, wait, I'm trying to figure out
[00:05:06] [SPEAKER_02]: what your zodiac is.
[00:05:07] [SPEAKER_03]: I'm like cancer.
[00:05:08] [SPEAKER_03]: You're a cancer.
[00:05:09] [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, class.
[00:05:10] [SPEAKER_03]: I'm pretty emotional today too,
[00:05:11] [SPEAKER_03]: so I'm living up to it.
[00:05:12] [SPEAKER_01]: Great.
[00:05:14] [SPEAKER_01]: How do you feel about spending your birthday
[00:05:17] [SPEAKER_01]: talking about attack with the clons?
[00:05:20] [SPEAKER_01]: It's good, it's a good distraction.
[00:05:22] [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, that's right.
[00:05:23] [SPEAKER_03]: That's what all of this is all for all of us.
[00:05:25] [SPEAKER_03]: No, I was looking forward to today.
[00:05:27] [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, that's good.
[00:05:28] [SPEAKER_03]: I'm excited to get to relive.
[00:05:31] [SPEAKER_03]: Attack of the clone once again for the second time out of 10.
[00:05:36] [SPEAKER_01]: So this is going to be a clone's base episode.
[00:05:39] [SPEAKER_01]: We're going to dig into the clones,
[00:05:40] [SPEAKER_01]: but how's key spring?
[00:05:41] [SPEAKER_01]: It spends birthday check.
[00:05:43] [SPEAKER_01]: Everyone send them a fucking happy birthday message.
[00:05:44] [SPEAKER_01]: A week from now when you hear this podcast.
[00:05:47] [SPEAKER_01]: Send them a happy birthday.
[00:05:47] [SPEAKER_02]: Happy birthday, Fennel.
[00:05:49] [SPEAKER_01]: Yes.
[00:05:50] [SPEAKER_01]: Great.
[00:05:50] [SPEAKER_01]: Please bake him a fennel cake.
[00:05:54] [SPEAKER_01]: Not a fennel cake though, not a fennel cake.
[00:05:55] [SPEAKER_01]: No.
[00:05:56] [SPEAKER_01]: It can be a fennel cake in the shape of a funnel,
[00:05:59] [SPEAKER_01]: but it has to be.
[00:06:00] [SPEAKER_01]: But it must be made of fennel.
[00:06:02] [SPEAKER_01]: Yes.
[00:06:02] [SPEAKER_01]: That housekeeping, at least if you want
[00:06:04] [SPEAKER_01]: percent of the cake must be fennel.
[00:06:06] [SPEAKER_02]: That's a 90 degree.
[00:06:07] [SPEAKER_02]: Oh, you wow, OK.
[00:06:09] [SPEAKER_01]: It must be fennel in the shape of a cake that can be in the shape of a funnel.
[00:06:13] [SPEAKER_01]: OK, now no one's listening anymore.
[00:06:14] [SPEAKER_01]: Right, just taking now we can talk about it.
[00:06:16] [SPEAKER_02]: What are you making at HP?
[00:06:17] [SPEAKER_02]: I know.
[00:06:19] [SPEAKER_01]: So that's Ben's birthday.
[00:06:21] [SPEAKER_01]: Creepy graphic planning to win another OB for it.
[00:06:24] [SPEAKER_01]: Check.
[00:06:24] [SPEAKER_01]: What's your name, my well.
[00:06:25] [SPEAKER_01]: Promotional photo shoot.
[00:06:27] [SPEAKER_01]: I think those are kind of like the random folks
[00:06:28] [SPEAKER_01]: who they do during filming to them be able to like,
[00:06:31] [SPEAKER_01]: they put in front of a very color neutral background,
[00:06:34] [SPEAKER_01]: so that they could maybe replace it with exciting stuff.
[00:06:37] [SPEAKER_01]: Make it a poster.
[00:06:37] [SPEAKER_01]: You sell it Walmart for kids.
[00:06:40] [SPEAKER_02]: You know, it's always forget, like, they record the commentary.
[00:06:43] [SPEAKER_02]: Like then, like before the movies come out, basically,
[00:06:46] [SPEAKER_02]: they're all right.
[00:06:46] [SPEAKER_02]: You know, it's sort of weird to think that all has to get
[00:06:49] [SPEAKER_02]: sewn up right away, even if like, you know,
[00:06:52] [SPEAKER_02]: they must think while they're doing the commentary,
[00:06:55] [SPEAKER_02]: like, god, what if this thing bombs?
[00:06:57] [SPEAKER_02]: Like, you know, whatever one hates it.
[00:06:58] [SPEAKER_01]: Well, that's like, without invoking the name of my own personal
[00:07:02] [SPEAKER_01]: Voldemort, I once had to do an extensive promotional campaign
[00:07:07] [SPEAKER_01]: for a TV show that never made it on air with me in it.
[00:07:10] [SPEAKER_04]: Woo!
[00:07:11] [SPEAKER_01]: I did, I did a lot of like-
[00:07:13] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, you, you took a lot of TV images.
[00:07:15] [SPEAKER_01]: I know what my face would have looked like on a subway.
[00:07:18] [SPEAKER_02]: Wow, I forgot about that.
[00:07:19] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, it's weird stuff.
[00:07:21] [SPEAKER_01]: It's especially weird when it's just then burned into whatever
[00:07:24] [SPEAKER_01]: season.
[00:07:25] [SPEAKER_01]: But that was like two days of my life was like,
[00:07:28] [SPEAKER_01]: I tell me two days, all right.
[00:07:29] [SPEAKER_01]: All right, that's good to know.
[00:07:29] [SPEAKER_02]: It's not, don't think forever.
[00:07:31] [SPEAKER_01]: No, I think if the thing actually happens on there's more
[00:07:33] [SPEAKER_01]: or if it was, yeah.
[00:07:36] [SPEAKER_02]: Anyway, also Jake Lloyd.
[00:07:38] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, so he got to be reading his life.
[00:07:40] [SPEAKER_02]: Speeding down is it in South Carolina where he got arrested?
[00:07:43] [SPEAKER_02]: Actually, it was North Carolina.
[00:07:44] [SPEAKER_01]: South Carolina was, was the two worst things that happened
[00:07:47] [SPEAKER_01]: in the Carolinas last week.
[00:07:48] [SPEAKER_01]: We're the Charleston shootings and Jake Lloyd getting arrested.
[00:07:52] [SPEAKER_02]: Jake Lloyd, you know, like as much as it is a weird creepy irony
[00:07:57] [SPEAKER_02]: to the fact that he's getting arrested for speeding.
[00:08:00] [SPEAKER_02]: Now, that's potteration.
[00:08:01] [SPEAKER_02]: Now, that is potteracing.
[00:08:03] [SPEAKER_02]: But like, apparently, he suffers from schizophrenia
[00:08:05] [SPEAKER_02]: and really?
[00:08:06] [SPEAKER_02]: He had attacked his mother because he's off his meds.
[00:08:09] [SPEAKER_02]: So it's really very sad who knew-
[00:08:11] [SPEAKER_01]: I didn't hear that skits of franny of thing.
[00:08:13] [SPEAKER_01]: You're getting this from TMZ.
[00:08:14] [SPEAKER_02]: I'm getting it from TMZ, so you know.
[00:08:15] [SPEAKER_01]: Well, I went to a rabbit hole watching interviews with him.
[00:08:18] [SPEAKER_01]: He still does like maybe one or two like sci-fi conventions a year.
[00:08:22] [SPEAKER_01]: He'll do the big ones in other countries where they'll pay him more money
[00:08:24] [SPEAKER_02]: and get to try to get, like probably his widely dispersed in the mirror.
[00:08:29] [SPEAKER_01]: But there was like video of him doing one in like Ireland.
[00:08:32] [SPEAKER_01]: And what him doing when he can't at MAB and they're from the last like 10 years
[00:08:37] [SPEAKER_01]: I was watching all these and all of them, he's like very...
[00:08:42] [SPEAKER_01]: The one from like five years ago, he's clearly a very, very wounded dude.
[00:08:47] [SPEAKER_01]: He's like 20 or 21 at the time I guess.
[00:08:50] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I think I've heard of this and he sort of says like...
[00:08:52] [SPEAKER_01]: I kind of remember my life as ruined.
[00:08:54] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, like high school was a lot of people yelling those lines back at me
[00:08:58] [SPEAKER_01]: and calling me like a shithead for ruining a movie
[00:09:01] [SPEAKER_01]: and like...
[00:09:02] [SPEAKER_02]: We're guy.
[00:09:03] [SPEAKER_01]: I mean look, we hate his performance.
[00:09:06] [SPEAKER_02]: It's a bad performance.
[00:09:07] [SPEAKER_01]: It's a bad performance child.
[00:09:08] [SPEAKER_01]: He's a child and we would never do that to him.
[00:09:10] [SPEAKER_01]: We would never say this stuff to him in person.
[00:09:11] [SPEAKER_01]: We just record 15 episodes and then we'll be some...
[00:09:14] [SPEAKER_01]: In the public and you're not where they'll stay forever.
[00:09:16] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, they are fully downloadable.
[00:09:18] [SPEAKER_02]: As long as we keep up our soundcloud, soundcloud payments.
[00:09:21] [SPEAKER_01]: Which reminds me Jake if you could maybe send us a few more dollars
[00:09:25] [SPEAKER_01]: or come up for our soundcloud payment.
[00:09:27] [SPEAKER_01]: Uh-huh.
[00:09:28] [SPEAKER_01]: No, but we're gentlemen, we would never say those things to his face.
[00:09:31] [SPEAKER_01]: No, yeah, no, it's not a case.
[00:09:32] [SPEAKER_02]: It sucks, it sucks.
[00:09:33] [SPEAKER_01]: Oh, podcast them.
[00:09:34] [SPEAKER_01]: Well, pod race them.
[00:09:37] [SPEAKER_01]: What's the other interview watched though?
[00:09:38] [SPEAKER_01]: The other one I watched was from like a year ago and it was all the questions like...
[00:09:43] [SPEAKER_01]: They were going like so...
[00:09:45] [SPEAKER_01]: Anything coming up in your acting career and he's like, well...
[00:09:49] [SPEAKER_01]: I retired 10 years ago.
[00:09:51] [SPEAKER_01]: So that was the last thing I did.
[00:09:52] [SPEAKER_01]: And they keep asking his things like,
[00:09:53] [SPEAKER_01]: so what about like a lot of child stars getting their drugs and stuff?
[00:09:56] [SPEAKER_01]: Do you think you're gonna...
[00:09:58] [SPEAKER_01]: Like, he was asking for the question.
[00:09:59] [SPEAKER_01]: The questions were that bad.
[00:10:01] [SPEAKER_01]: Are you depressing?
[00:10:02] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
[00:10:03] [SPEAKER_01]: So many people like you are?
[00:10:04] [SPEAKER_01]: That's seriously what it was.
[00:10:05] [SPEAKER_01]: And he was like so defensively like,
[00:10:07] [SPEAKER_01]: I'm just trying to live my life.
[00:10:08] [SPEAKER_01]: And he goes like, so what do you do now?
[00:10:10] [SPEAKER_01]: And he's like, I'm into editing.
[00:10:14] [SPEAKER_01]: And it's like, oh, okay.
[00:10:15] [SPEAKER_01]: So is that as exciting?
[00:10:16] [SPEAKER_01]: And he's like, well, I'm a different person
[00:10:18] [SPEAKER_01]: than I was 10 years ago and this is what I like doing now.
[00:10:20] [SPEAKER_02]: Now, I'm getting bummed out hearing you repeat things
[00:10:23] [SPEAKER_02]: that he said in an interview.
[00:10:25] [SPEAKER_02]: Like, that's how depressing this is.
[00:10:27] [SPEAKER_01]: The guy says to him, yes, and he's like...
[00:10:30] [SPEAKER_01]: So does it ever help with the ladies?
[00:10:33] [SPEAKER_01]: Oh my god.
[00:10:33] [SPEAKER_01]: And check Lloyd's like, what?
[00:10:35] [SPEAKER_01]: And he's like...
[00:10:36] [SPEAKER_01]: Does... Does... Does you...
[00:10:37] [SPEAKER_01]: He doubles down.
[00:10:39] [SPEAKER_01]: He's like, does it help with the ladies?
[00:10:40] [SPEAKER_01]: And he's like, I don't understand why any lady
[00:10:42] [SPEAKER_01]: would be interested in that.
[00:10:43] [SPEAKER_01]: And he's like, so you don't play that card?
[00:10:45] [SPEAKER_01]: Oh my god.
[00:10:46] [SPEAKER_01]: And he's like, no, I don't play that card.
[00:10:48] [SPEAKER_01]: And he's like, what?
[00:10:49] [SPEAKER_01]: So you play the editing card instead.
[00:10:51] [SPEAKER_01]: Like, the guy backhands him by being like,
[00:10:53] [SPEAKER_01]: oh, you're so serious as an editor now.
[00:10:55] [SPEAKER_02]: Do you pick up chicks by talking about play?
[00:10:57] [SPEAKER_01]: Now, that's what I call the pussy thing.
[00:10:59] [SPEAKER_01]: You're like, what is he...
[00:11:01] [SPEAKER_01]: Who wants to know one?
[00:11:03] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, yeah, I don't know.
[00:11:06] [SPEAKER_02]: More Jake.
[00:11:06] [SPEAKER_01]: Poor Jake.
[00:11:07] [SPEAKER_02]: But then again, it doesn't seem like he's really in trouble now.
[00:11:09] [SPEAKER_02]: Why didn't know his that bad?
[00:11:10] [SPEAKER_01]: Oh, and then the interview I watched a year ago,
[00:11:12] [SPEAKER_01]: the guys are asking him the questions are like,
[00:11:15] [SPEAKER_01]: as loaded, but he just seems stoned out of his mind.
[00:11:17] [SPEAKER_02]: Right.
[00:11:17] [SPEAKER_01]: It feels like he has dealt with this pressure by just being...
[00:11:20] [SPEAKER_02]: I'm indicating, yeah.
[00:11:22] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
[00:11:23] [SPEAKER_01]: Oh, boy.
[00:11:24] [SPEAKER_01]: This is like, like, chill to a fault about everything.
[00:11:27] [SPEAKER_01]: Sorry, Jake.
[00:11:28] [SPEAKER_01]: Sorry, Jake.
[00:11:29] [SPEAKER_01]: We, we feel bad.
[00:11:31] [SPEAKER_02]: Yep, but, you know, don't drink and drive or speed
[00:11:34] [SPEAKER_02]: or whatever it is he was doing?
[00:11:36] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
[00:11:37] [SPEAKER_01]: Also if you want to be a guest on the show,
[00:11:38] [SPEAKER_01]: we would gladly.
[00:11:39] [SPEAKER_02]: I think I'd know where.
[00:11:40] [SPEAKER_02]: No way.
[00:11:41] [SPEAKER_02]: Okay.
[00:11:41] [SPEAKER_02]: You think so?
[00:11:42] [SPEAKER_02]: I mean, I really actually would not
[00:11:43] [SPEAKER_02]: from what you're describing of...
[00:11:45] [SPEAKER_02]: Anyway, he's probably going to...
[00:11:46] [SPEAKER_01]: I do want to get an actor from a tack that clones on this season.
[00:11:49] [SPEAKER_01]: I made it sort of a good line.
[00:11:50] [SPEAKER_02]: He's not even a tack of a point.
[00:11:51] [SPEAKER_01]: I know.
[00:11:52] [SPEAKER_01]: I know.
[00:11:52] [SPEAKER_01]: Who would you want?
[00:11:53] [SPEAKER_01]: New point.
[00:11:53] [SPEAKER_01]: Roseburns obviously the one I want.
[00:11:54] [SPEAKER_02]: Well, let me never be great.
[00:11:55] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
[00:11:56] [SPEAKER_01]: We talked about this.
[00:11:56] [SPEAKER_01]: We talked about that.
[00:11:58] [SPEAKER_01]: But, uh, she's the best actor in the movie.
[00:12:02] [SPEAKER_01]: That's not the best performance I've ever done.
[00:12:03] [SPEAKER_01]: We'll come to that.
[00:12:04] [SPEAKER_02]: We'll come to that.
[00:12:04] [SPEAKER_02]: She's great right now.
[00:12:05] [SPEAKER_02]: I mean, Roseburns killing it.
[00:12:06] [SPEAKER_02]: She's great inspired by her voice.
[00:12:07] [SPEAKER_02]: That's what I'm saying.
[00:12:07] [SPEAKER_01]: I'm not saying it's the best performance in the movie.
[00:12:09] [SPEAKER_01]: I'm saying she is the best actor who happens to be in that film.
[00:12:12] [SPEAKER_01]: Yes.
[00:12:12] [SPEAKER_01]: Of everyone in their present day state, she's doing the most exciting work.
[00:12:17] [SPEAKER_02]: I'm just like running through.
[00:12:18] [SPEAKER_02]: I guess you're right.
[00:12:19] [SPEAKER_02]: It's kind of... well, Natalie Portman, I'm excited to see whatever she does next.
[00:12:22] [SPEAKER_01]: Me too.
[00:12:23] [SPEAKER_01]: But she's taken a...
[00:12:23] [SPEAKER_01]: She's been laying dormant.
[00:12:24] [SPEAKER_01]: She had a babysitter, laying dormant.
[00:12:26] [SPEAKER_01]: Black Swan.
[00:12:27] [SPEAKER_01]: I think as a tremendous performance when we were serving Oscar Rens in a long time.
[00:12:31] [SPEAKER_01]: Um, but she's been laying kind of dormant other than the work for me.
[00:12:34] [SPEAKER_01]: Which I think she's very, very strong.
[00:12:36] [SPEAKER_01]: She's funnier.
[00:12:37] [SPEAKER_01]: But Roseburns doing the most exciting work of anyone who was in attack of the clones.
[00:12:40] [SPEAKER_01]: I want to get someone on the show.
[00:12:41] [SPEAKER_01]: Also, I think this season we're going to get more guests.
[00:12:44] [SPEAKER_01]: We've been talking about.
[00:12:44] [SPEAKER_01]: Oh yeah?
[00:12:45] [SPEAKER_01]: I think we want to up the guest.
[00:12:46] [SPEAKER_01]: We got guests coming?
[00:12:47] [SPEAKER_01]: I think we got some guests coming.
[00:12:48] [SPEAKER_01]: I forgot to talk about it with you.
[00:12:49] [SPEAKER_01]: But Ben and I've been talking about it.
[00:12:50] [SPEAKER_01]: I've been talking to some people.
[00:12:51] [SPEAKER_01]: We're going to... where are you guys from guests?
[00:12:52] [SPEAKER_01]: Okay.
[00:12:53] [SPEAKER_01]: I don't know if that's exciting or not.
[00:12:54] [SPEAKER_01]: How's keeping out of the way?
[00:12:56] [SPEAKER_01]: Let's talk about damn clones.
[00:12:59] [SPEAKER_01]: Clones.
[00:12:59] [SPEAKER_01]: Clones.
[00:13:00] [SPEAKER_01]: This is the titular thing in the movie.
[00:13:04] [SPEAKER_01]: Last week we focused on the first 25 minutes.
[00:13:06] [SPEAKER_01]: Which I argue are full of intense promise.
[00:13:09] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
[00:13:09] [SPEAKER_02]: I argue are full of somewhat deflated promise.
[00:13:14] [SPEAKER_02]: We already had this.
[00:13:15] [SPEAKER_02]: It's not graceful, but it's exciting itself up for something interesting.
[00:13:19] [SPEAKER_02]: And then you know, blows it pretty much.
[00:13:21] [SPEAKER_02]: Within a minute after where we stopped covering.
[00:13:24] [SPEAKER_01]: Last week.
[00:13:25] [SPEAKER_01]: And so we're going to cover a lot of that.
[00:13:27] [SPEAKER_01]: I want to make it clear.
[00:13:28] [SPEAKER_01]: I have a very real affection for this movie.
[00:13:32] [SPEAKER_01]: Once again, it's just maybe because I'm so excited to be watching
[00:13:35] [SPEAKER_01]: a new Star Wars movie.
[00:13:37] [SPEAKER_01]: But the movie does really like kind of fly off the rails.
[00:13:42] [SPEAKER_02]: I'm trying to remember where it goes immediately from the, you know,
[00:13:47] [SPEAKER_02]: the Xam Wessel attack and what what what what immediately follows.
[00:13:50] [SPEAKER_01]: Well David, interesting point.
[00:13:52] [SPEAKER_01]: Today, I in one of the more dubious financial decisions in recent memory.
[00:14:00] [SPEAKER_02]: Oh, but we make a bunch of this.
[00:14:02] [SPEAKER_01]: I know, spent $20 getting attacked the clenze on my iPhone.
[00:14:07] [SPEAKER_02]: Wow.
[00:14:08] [SPEAKER_01]: So you're saying you purchased it on iTunes.
[00:14:10] [SPEAKER_01]: I already own it on Blu-ray.
[00:14:12] [SPEAKER_01]: But I want to be able to as a work expense.
[00:14:16] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, sure.
[00:14:16] [SPEAKER_02]: Have a nice interview.
[00:14:17] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
[00:14:19] [SPEAKER_01]: Ben, can you take care of that?
[00:14:20] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, sure.
[00:14:20] [SPEAKER_01]: We'll just write it off no problem.
[00:14:22] [SPEAKER_01]: Great.
[00:14:22] [SPEAKER_01]: Happy birthday.
[00:14:23] [SPEAKER_01]: I wanted to be able to watch certain scenes study them like over and over again.
[00:14:27] [SPEAKER_01]: So I haven't here in my phone.
[00:14:29] [SPEAKER_01]: Here's the Xam Wessel attack.
[00:14:33] [SPEAKER_01]: Uh, she's got a lizard face.
[00:14:36] [SPEAKER_01]: Um, oh, that Xam Wessel.
[00:14:37] [SPEAKER_01]: Oh, boy.
[00:14:38] [SPEAKER_01]: She's a changeling that one.
[00:14:39] [SPEAKER_01]: It goes to them talking.
[00:14:42] [SPEAKER_01]: How's it going to?
[00:14:43] [SPEAKER_01]: It goes to them talking.
[00:14:45] [SPEAKER_01]: Oh, I see.
[00:14:46] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
[00:14:46] [SPEAKER_01]: They go.
[00:14:46] [SPEAKER_01]: It goes to them reporting back to the Jedi.
[00:14:48] [SPEAKER_01]: They're just flying here.
[00:14:50] [SPEAKER_01]: And they're recapping what we just saw happen.
[00:14:52] [SPEAKER_02]: And we are getting for the first time a real look in the Jedi Temple not just their throne room,
[00:14:59] [SPEAKER_02]: uh, you know, they're circle of, right?
[00:15:00] [SPEAKER_02]: But like we're seeing inside the temple.
[00:15:02] [SPEAKER_02]: I'm sorry.
[00:15:03] [SPEAKER_02]: It gets to that.
[00:15:04] [SPEAKER_01]: The, the, the media plot is to the room and then it goes to like them in the hallways.
[00:15:09] [SPEAKER_01]: You see the extended stuff with the floating chair and stuff.
[00:15:12] [SPEAKER_02]: Uh, and yeah, also palpiting meeting with Anakin and sort of showing great interest.
[00:15:18] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, now they're not the floating chair.
[00:15:20] [SPEAKER_01]: Well, so okay.
[00:15:20] [SPEAKER_01]: So the movie class splinters off at this point, right?
[00:15:23] [SPEAKER_01]: And then one starts falling.
[00:15:24] [SPEAKER_01]: They're a little friends.
[00:15:25] [SPEAKER_01]: They start deciding like, uh, Anakin, you're on pad meditail.
[00:15:29] [SPEAKER_01]: Pad meditail.
[00:15:30] [SPEAKER_01]: And it becomes this vaguely noirish detective thriller.
[00:15:34] [SPEAKER_01]: Very big.
[00:15:34] [SPEAKER_01]: Sort feeling like it's going in that direction.
[00:15:36] [SPEAKER_02]: But no, the Anakin plot.
[00:15:37] [SPEAKER_02]: No.
[00:15:38] [SPEAKER_02]: The Anakin plot immediately becomes like a teen romance where is the Obi-Wan plot.
[00:15:43] [SPEAKER_02]: It's like a noir detective, like, you know, just picking up the crumbs of the mystery.
[00:15:49] [SPEAKER_02]: Uh, and there's one scene basically out.
[00:15:50] [SPEAKER_02]: No, no, there's more than one scene.
[00:15:51] [SPEAKER_02]: We're going to talk about that today.
[00:15:53] [SPEAKER_01]: That's where it's talking right now.
[00:15:54] [SPEAKER_01]: The Anakin plot.
[00:15:54] [SPEAKER_01]: We're not talking.
[00:15:55] [SPEAKER_01]: And separate up a story.
[00:15:56] [SPEAKER_01]: And what's interesting is for this chunk of the movie, the next like 45 minutes to an hour.
[00:16:00] [SPEAKER_01]: We're cutting between these two things.
[00:16:02] [SPEAKER_01]: But like dead on, like because I was skipping through the chapters on my phone,
[00:16:05] [SPEAKER_01]: the chapter breaks and it's like one, one, one.
[00:16:09] [SPEAKER_01]: Like it's back and forth.
[00:16:10] [SPEAKER_01]: You're not seeing any other action and it's like.
[00:16:11] [SPEAKER_02]: There's no cuts back to the Jedi. I guess maybe that only just comes later.
[00:16:15] [SPEAKER_02]: There's always, you know, there's thread happening in the Jedi Temple between Yoda and Mesa Wendy, where they basically just saying like,
[00:16:22] [SPEAKER_02]: something's up.
[00:16:23] [SPEAKER_01]: That happens like, I, it happens outside of this chunk.
[00:16:27] [SPEAKER_01]: This chunk is concentrated where it's a just between those two forces.
[00:16:30] [SPEAKER_01]: Right.
[00:16:31] [SPEAKER_01]: No pun intended.
[00:16:33] [SPEAKER_01]: Um, but, uh, so yeah, we're talking about Obi-Wan.
[00:16:36] [SPEAKER_02]: Yes.
[00:16:37] [SPEAKER_02]: And then we're picking up the thread of Camino.
[00:16:40] [SPEAKER_02]: And seeing where it takes it.
[00:16:42] [SPEAKER_02]: So you guys, the Jedi, he's got, he's armed with one piece of information which is Django Fett's little, uh,
[00:16:46] [SPEAKER_02]: killing, he's a little dark.
[00:16:49] [SPEAKER_01]: But he doesn't even know this, Django Fett.
[00:16:50] [SPEAKER_01]: He just goes like this dart.
[00:16:51] [SPEAKER_01]: This came out, this killed this lady,
[00:16:53] [SPEAKER_01]: and made her into a changeling.
[00:16:54] [SPEAKER_01]: She was very dangerous in dead.
[00:16:56] [SPEAKER_02]: Um, also by the way, this is a world with lasers, which are untraceable.
[00:16:59] [SPEAKER_02]: Uh, why did Django Fett not just shoot her head off for the laser?
[00:17:03] [SPEAKER_03]: Well, he's old school.
[00:17:03] [SPEAKER_02]: Okay.
[00:17:04] [SPEAKER_02]: He's a traditional.
[00:17:05] [SPEAKER_02]: Got you.
[00:17:05] [SPEAKER_02]: I don't know if he's a bounty hunter.
[00:17:07] [SPEAKER_02]: Slash a assassin.
[00:17:07] [SPEAKER_02]: Like, literally, why didn't he just shoot like, you know, they're talking to her.
[00:17:11] [SPEAKER_02]: He's standing like 20 feet away.
[00:17:13] [SPEAKER_02]: Oh yeah.
[00:17:13] [SPEAKER_02]: Why doesn't her head just explode from a laser ball?
[00:17:17] [SPEAKER_02]: Oh, yeah.
[00:17:17] [SPEAKER_02]: Or those guns he has.
[00:17:19] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
[00:17:19] [SPEAKER_02]: Whatever.
[00:17:20] [SPEAKER_02]: He's got cool guns.
[00:17:20] [SPEAKER_02]: He's got laser guns.
[00:17:21] [SPEAKER_02]: Don't shoot bullets.
[00:17:22] [SPEAKER_02]: You couldn't trace them.
[00:17:24] [SPEAKER_02]: Instead, Obi-Wan has something to work with.
[00:17:26] [SPEAKER_01]: I know.
[00:17:29] [SPEAKER_01]: Um, Django Fett also like, honor among thieves, like bounty hunters killing each other.
[00:17:33] [SPEAKER_02]: Do you think maybe that's why he used it because he just like, I'll give you, uh, you know, an open casket death basically.
[00:17:39] [SPEAKER_02]: I don't know.
[00:17:40] [SPEAKER_02]: I mean, you're always saying make the body look nice.
[00:17:42] [SPEAKER_02]: Like, you know, like keeping preserve everything, you know?
[00:17:45] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, but still let you turn to a gross alien.
[00:17:47] [SPEAKER_02]: Hey, like, and lizardly.
[00:17:48] [SPEAKER_02]: Come on.
[00:17:48] [SPEAKER_02]: That's her natural form.
[00:17:50] [SPEAKER_02]: Well, is it?
[00:17:50] [SPEAKER_02]: Well, we don't know.
[00:17:51] [SPEAKER_02]: We don't know.
[00:17:52] [SPEAKER_02]: And we are, we won't know.
[00:17:54] [SPEAKER_01]: She's a change thing.
[00:17:54] [SPEAKER_01]: Does that mean she can change in anything or that's her.
[00:17:56] [SPEAKER_01]: I guess because she died, that's her natural form.
[00:17:58] [SPEAKER_01]: I don't know.
[00:17:59] [SPEAKER_01]: Okay.
[00:17:59] [SPEAKER_01]: So she dies.
[00:18:00] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
[00:18:01] [SPEAKER_01]: She takes the dart to the Jedi Council.
[00:18:03] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
[00:18:04] [SPEAKER_01]: You're like, okay, Anakin, you fucking get on pat me detail.
[00:18:08] [SPEAKER_01]: Obi-wan, figure this shit out.
[00:18:10] [SPEAKER_01]: Something weird's going on.
[00:18:13] [SPEAKER_01]: Yoda and Mace Windu have disclosed that the force is weakening.
[00:18:17] [SPEAKER_01]: That they're power.
[00:18:19] [SPEAKER_02]: They just close it up.
[00:18:20] [SPEAKER_02]: We want her to be just talk amongst themselves.
[00:18:21] [SPEAKER_02]: They talk to themselves.
[00:18:22] [SPEAKER_02]: Which it is a monumental piece of information that's really not sharing.
[00:18:27] [SPEAKER_02]: And I think that it's supposed to be a mistake.
[00:18:30] [SPEAKER_02]: I don't think the George Lucas isn't.
[00:18:32] [SPEAKER_02]: Maybe I do think that he's trying to show us like, you know, there's something
[00:18:36] [SPEAKER_02]: rotten at the car core of this of the Jedi enterprise here.
[00:18:40] [SPEAKER_02]: Like, oh, you know, they, I mean, Mace Windu and Yoda, they know something's up
[00:18:44] [SPEAKER_02]: and they can't admit it.
[00:18:45] [SPEAKER_01]: And Anakin was supposed to bring balance to the force and so far things have only gotten worse.
[00:18:49] [SPEAKER_01]: You know, like, bring balance already, geez.
[00:18:52] [SPEAKER_01]: But it's also this tension of, um,
[00:18:56] [SPEAKER_01]: they say like, should we tell the Republic?
[00:18:59] Right.
[00:18:59] [SPEAKER_01]: And they're like, look, the only people who's so right now that our force is weakening
[00:19:05] [SPEAKER_01]: are us and whoever this fucking mysterious Sith Lord is.
[00:19:08] [SPEAKER_01]: This Phantom Mace because he has the force to say he can feel it
[00:19:11] [SPEAKER_01]: that we're weak.
[00:19:13] [SPEAKER_01]: We don't want that information getting out to anyone because it'll start spreading.
[00:19:16] [SPEAKER_02]: The idea I guess is that this as the Sith power grows,
[00:19:20] [SPEAKER_02]: their powers is sort of eaten away maybe is that the idea?
[00:19:23] [SPEAKER_01]: I think that's an idea.
[00:19:24] [SPEAKER_01]: And then I'm not also, it's like they don't want army.
[00:19:28] [SPEAKER_02]: The force is always super vague.
[00:19:29] [SPEAKER_02]: And the problem with this is it feels like a total story can try
[00:19:31] [SPEAKER_02]: and it's because it's like you've established they have magical future powers
[00:19:34] [SPEAKER_02]: basically.
[00:19:35] [SPEAKER_02]: So it's like, oh, they're not working.
[00:19:37] [SPEAKER_02]: Tap, tap, tap, side of the TV is all fuzzy.
[00:19:40] [SPEAKER_02]: Oh, you know, like, it just, it feels like an annoying
[00:19:43] [SPEAKER_02]: contrivens to explain away why the Jedi can't solve their problems.
[00:19:48] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, do you think he's going to be explained a lot more or a lot less?
[00:19:51] [SPEAKER_02]: The force is not very well explained, but you're right.
[00:19:54] [SPEAKER_02]: We get a little too much and we're like, what can and can't you do?
[00:19:59] [SPEAKER_01]: Right. You know?
[00:20:00] [SPEAKER_01]: Like saying like, okay, if they just explain the force
[00:20:01] [SPEAKER_01]: like being like, okay, the force is power that binds together.
[00:20:06] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, life energy, right.
[00:20:08] [SPEAKER_01]: Like just a really vague but powerful sort of mystical explanation.
[00:20:13] [SPEAKER_01]: And then after that you just saw it's effects that would be one thing.
[00:20:16] [SPEAKER_01]: But like Phantom Mass makes a very clear, this is a blood disorder
[00:20:20] [SPEAKER_02]: that like, point one of point one percent of the world of the universe has it or something.
[00:20:26] [SPEAKER_02]: You've got little biological entities in your bloodstream,
[00:20:29] [SPEAKER_02]: eat and life energy from the fabric of the universe.
[00:20:33] [SPEAKER_01]: But wait, wait, wait a little boy, don't start crying.
[00:20:35] [SPEAKER_01]: The good news is those things in your blood can help you push things without touching them.
[00:20:40] [SPEAKER_01]: You can jump very high!
[00:20:41] [SPEAKER_02]: You can feel, you can feel when a worm is going to eat a lady
[00:20:45] [SPEAKER_02]: and then you can burst into a room and slice it off.
[00:20:47] [SPEAKER_02]: But only feel it like five seconds before the real world is the lady.
[00:20:51] [SPEAKER_02]: Also you're never going to love anyone.
[00:20:53] [SPEAKER_02]: You cannot get married.
[00:20:55] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, those little banners you've been getting like you're going to have to do with it.
[00:20:58] [SPEAKER_01]: Why master quite on?
[00:20:59] [SPEAKER_01]: Because the force makes it impossible for me to physically love a woman?
[00:21:03] [SPEAKER_01]: No, I just, that's just the rules.
[00:21:06] [SPEAKER_02]: Now that you have the love leads to anger and gorely to hate.
[00:21:09] [SPEAKER_02]: They don't even really say it.
[00:21:10] [SPEAKER_02]: Do they say it?
[00:21:11] [SPEAKER_02]: We're getting to that later.
[00:21:12] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
[00:21:12] [SPEAKER_02]: We're following Obi-Wan on the trail.
[00:21:15] [SPEAKER_02]: You've got to stay focused.
[00:21:16] [SPEAKER_02]: Of this, Kamino-
[00:21:17] [SPEAKER_01]: Try not tuck that clowns.
[00:21:19] [SPEAKER_01]: So he has this dart.
[00:21:21] [SPEAKER_01]: He goes to them.
[00:21:22] [SPEAKER_01]: They're like, we don't know look into this.
[00:21:23] [SPEAKER_01]: Who's the first person he's going to turn to?
[00:21:25] [SPEAKER_01]: Obi-Wan is a giant knight and he's well-traveled.
[00:21:28] [SPEAKER_01]: He's well-learned.
[00:21:29] [SPEAKER_01]: He must know everyone in this whole galaxy.
[00:21:33] [SPEAKER_01]: Who is he going to ask of anyone for answers to find out where the start came from?
[00:21:38] [SPEAKER_01]: He is good old, roly politely, moustacheyode.
[00:21:43] [SPEAKER_01]: Dinosaur, his biggest friend.
[00:21:46] [SPEAKER_01]: Dexter, Jetster.
[00:21:48] [SPEAKER_01]: We have now completed my holy Trinity.
[00:21:51] [SPEAKER_01]: Trinity?
[00:21:52] [SPEAKER_01]: Isn't it a duality?
[00:21:54] [SPEAKER_01]: Well, well, it's two new characters entering my holy Trinity with the existing water
[00:22:00] [SPEAKER_01]: who returns.
[00:22:02] [SPEAKER_01]: We'll talk about what is a parent's later.
[00:22:03] [SPEAKER_01]: What are returns in a greatly diminished role?
[00:22:06] [SPEAKER_01]: I'm not sure if we have this.
[00:22:07] [SPEAKER_01]: But with a greatly improved path.
[00:22:09] [SPEAKER_01]: It's a great little hack.
[00:22:11] [SPEAKER_02]: He goes from no hat to hat.
[00:22:13] [SPEAKER_03]: Is it good?
[00:22:15] [SPEAKER_02]: Yes, Dexter.
[00:22:17] [SPEAKER_02]: Dexter, Dexter.
[00:22:18] [SPEAKER_02]: Dexter's diner.
[00:22:19] [SPEAKER_02]: They call him Dexter, but he's a Dexter.
[00:22:22] [SPEAKER_02]: He is a basilic, a basilic which is an entirely CG multi-armed.
[00:22:30] [SPEAKER_02]: What are they like?
[00:22:31] [SPEAKER_02]: Four of four arms.
[00:22:33] [SPEAKER_02]: And then you've got sort of like dino legs.
[00:22:36] [SPEAKER_02]: It's sort of like a big, lizardy guy.
[00:22:39] [SPEAKER_02]: And then this sort of huge, flapping, uh, water, like under the neck.
[00:22:45] [SPEAKER_02]: You know, like sort of a big, uh, throat pouch.
[00:22:47] [SPEAKER_02]: Well, let's call it what it is.
[00:22:48] [SPEAKER_02]: He's got a frog face.
[00:22:49] [SPEAKER_01]: He's got a frog face.
[00:22:50] [SPEAKER_01]: He's a frog.
[00:22:51] [SPEAKER_01]: He's got a frog face.
[00:22:53] [SPEAKER_01]: He's got a wide mouth.
[00:22:54] [SPEAKER_01]: He's got a big gullet.
[00:22:56] [SPEAKER_01]: He's got a white-sad eyes.
[00:22:57] [SPEAKER_01]: And then he's got a weird and Congress must have.
[00:23:00] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
[00:23:01] [SPEAKER_02]: I hate the mustache.
[00:23:02] [SPEAKER_01]: I love the mustache.
[00:23:03] [SPEAKER_02]: I would be more on board with this if the mustache was gone.
[00:23:08] [SPEAKER_01]: I wouldn't even give a shit about him if he didn't have the mustache.
[00:23:12] [SPEAKER_02]: No, you're still care because he's still got this like, you know,
[00:23:18] [SPEAKER_02]: it's still a kind of a key idea.
[00:23:19] [SPEAKER_02]: Like he's got like the stained diner, like apron and white shirt.
[00:23:24] [SPEAKER_02]: And you know, he's like, you know, Ben is just shaking and said,
[00:23:26] [SPEAKER_02]: It is pretty gross.
[00:23:27] [SPEAKER_01]: Now, but this is an important point we're getting to.
[00:23:29] [SPEAKER_01]: We had complained about on the fans and podcasts.
[00:23:31] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, no fun.
[00:23:32] [SPEAKER_01]: No fun.
[00:23:33] [SPEAKER_01]: A, but B, how there's so little within this universe that is relatable.
[00:23:39] [SPEAKER_02]: Nothing with any kind of real grit to it.
[00:23:42] [SPEAKER_01]: But also with sort of like clear analogies to the world we live in.
[00:23:47] [SPEAKER_01]: You know?
[00:23:48] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
[00:23:48] [SPEAKER_01]: Because like even you didn't crazy sci-fi and crazy fancy whatever it is,
[00:23:51] [SPEAKER_01]: we want to if we don't have characters who we can relate to emotionally because they're all fucking
[00:23:55] [SPEAKER_01]: Stedai, just do it Jedi monks.
[00:23:58] [SPEAKER_01]: Stedai, Joe McMonks.
[00:23:59] [SPEAKER_01]: Stedai, Joe McMonks.
[00:24:00] [SPEAKER_01]: And tweet that to Rachel Dolittle.
[00:24:05] [SPEAKER_01]: Um, then you want like elements.
[00:24:07] [SPEAKER_01]: You want to have like the ships not work properly.
[00:24:09] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, sure.
[00:24:10] [SPEAKER_01]: You want to go like, Oh, this is the sci-fi version of this kind of place.
[00:24:13] [SPEAKER_01]: It's why I like the drags of chorus on that we saw in the first 25 minutes.
[00:24:18] [SPEAKER_01]: They're not that drag me that time for a song.
[00:24:20] [SPEAKER_02]: Well, that's my problem with them.
[00:24:21] [SPEAKER_02]: They're not, they're not dragging enough.
[00:24:23] [SPEAKER_02]: They still had, they feel a little fake because this whole movie is shot on.
[00:24:26] [SPEAKER_02]: Green's green.
[00:24:27] [SPEAKER_01]: I agree, but it's still a city.
[00:24:28] [SPEAKER_01]: I like that it's a city.
[00:24:30] [SPEAKER_01]: Hold plan, it's a city.
[00:24:31] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, but the rest of it's like this dumb jets and city.
[00:24:34] [SPEAKER_01]: I like seeing people walk around throwing out death sticks for you thinking their life choices.
[00:24:40] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, yeah.
[00:24:40] [SPEAKER_01]: Anyway.
[00:24:41] [SPEAKER_01]: Okay, so we get to this diner.
[00:24:42] [SPEAKER_01]: Dexter, jets, der.
[00:24:43] [SPEAKER_01]: Dexter, jets her feels like visually even though he's an alien.
[00:24:48] [SPEAKER_01]: He's got the mustache.
[00:24:49] [SPEAKER_01]: He's got the greasy shirt and the apron.
[00:24:52] [SPEAKER_01]: Got a big ol' belly.
[00:24:54] [SPEAKER_01]: He looks like the alien version of a pop.
[00:24:57] [SPEAKER_01]: He's a diner owner.
[00:24:59] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, yeah, yeah, he's like, what's, I know you keep talking.
[00:25:04] [SPEAKER_02]: I can't remember what I'm trying to think of.
[00:25:05] [SPEAKER_02]: The analog for him.
[00:25:07] [SPEAKER_02]: He knows everybody.
[00:25:08] [SPEAKER_02]: He knows that's the idea, right?
[00:25:10] [SPEAKER_02]: Like he's just like friend to all enemy to none but he knows the more grimy side of things as well.
[00:25:17] [SPEAKER_01]: And he's kind of underworld.
[00:25:18] [SPEAKER_01]: Tough yet jovial.
[00:25:20] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
[00:25:20] [SPEAKER_01]: Oh, yeah.
[00:25:21] [SPEAKER_01]: Like friendly but he doesn't mince words and he doesn't suffer fools.
[00:25:24] [SPEAKER_01]: But it's such a bad scene because everyone is so good.
[00:25:28] [SPEAKER_02]: It's good.
[00:25:28] [SPEAKER_02]: Like he, you know, this is supposed to be, I think, a really nice humanizing moment for Obi-Wan words.
[00:25:34] [SPEAKER_02]: Like, yeah, sure, he lectures Anakin for like losing his lightsaber or whatever.
[00:25:40] [SPEAKER_02]: You know, and he's, he's a bit of a stern teacher but like, here we see him.
[00:25:44] [SPEAKER_02]: Like kind of like the death 16, but more expanded.
[00:25:46] [SPEAKER_02]: He's like, dax, I get doing it.
[00:25:48] [SPEAKER_02]: He's like, oh, we won.
[00:25:50] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, they're chilling out.
[00:25:51] [SPEAKER_02]: And um, um, you and Greg are cannot like take it down.
[00:25:55] [SPEAKER_02]: He can't, he cannot, he just feels so stiff in that scene.
[00:25:59] [SPEAKER_02]: He probably was also acting against tennis ball.
[00:26:01] [SPEAKER_01]: Literally nothing.
[00:26:02] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
[00:26:02] [SPEAKER_02]: No, that's the whole problem with the movie.
[00:26:04] [SPEAKER_02]: That is the problem with the movie.
[00:26:06] [SPEAKER_02]: There's nothing for him to act against.
[00:26:09] [SPEAKER_01]: Knowing that Georgie Porgyan his ways, knowing that it was 2002,
[00:26:15] [SPEAKER_01]: shot in 2000, that we hadn't sort of made the advance sense we had in motion capture.
[00:26:19] [SPEAKER_01]: We've been realizing like, hey, it's helpful to have the actor.
[00:26:21] [SPEAKER_01]: They're on set interacting with the other actors and then CGI over them so that there's actual performance.
[00:26:27] [SPEAKER_01]: And that wasn't happening.
[00:26:28] [SPEAKER_01]: I don't know for sure.
[00:26:29] [SPEAKER_01]: Don't know, but I would be all but certain.
[00:26:31] [SPEAKER_01]: We'll have to wait until we listen to the commentary.
[00:26:33] [SPEAKER_01]: Oh, we can't wait for that.
[00:26:34] [SPEAKER_01]: But I would be all but certain that there was just like a grip off screen going.
[00:26:40] [SPEAKER_01]: Oh, yeah, I was mining in the out of rooms.
[00:26:42] [SPEAKER_02]: And this is a character with a lot of like he's got a funny voice, a lot of character to him.
[00:26:47] [SPEAKER_02]: You know, he's, uh, he's a real, you know, real, uh, quirky character.
[00:26:51] [SPEAKER_01]: He's got a lot of personality and he's given out a lot of warmth towards OV1.
[00:26:56] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I love that for some reason.
[00:26:58] [SPEAKER_02]: Ben is still abusing a real, uh, crooked guy.
[00:27:01] [SPEAKER_01]: Love as a birthday present.
[00:27:02] [SPEAKER_01]: I have birthday birthday birthday birthday birthday.
[00:27:03] [SPEAKER_01]: But I think guys, um, this actor's given it a lot.
[00:27:08] [SPEAKER_01]: And you feel like if you and my Gregor was getting that much to work off of he would have played it very differently.
[00:27:13] [SPEAKER_01]: If he knew hopefully one of one of my engines.
[00:27:15] [SPEAKER_01]: What imagine?
[00:27:16] [SPEAKER_02]: But I mean, my whole problem with a with you in this movie is just that I feel like he can never.
[00:27:20] [SPEAKER_02]: He's supposed to have a little more fun.
[00:27:22] [SPEAKER_02]: He never settles into it and maybe it is the problem with direction in the filming style.
[00:27:26] [SPEAKER_02]: I'll say it for the performance of you.
[00:27:28] [SPEAKER_02]: Jesus Christ.
[00:27:29] [SPEAKER_02]: What can I talk about?
[00:27:30] [SPEAKER_02]: No, no.
[00:27:31] [SPEAKER_02]: So we're talking, I just, I'm looking up decks on, um, Wikipedia.
[00:27:35] [SPEAKER_01]: Any interesting information.
[00:27:36] [SPEAKER_02]: You know, he met OV1 first when OV1 was a padawan.
[00:27:40] [SPEAKER_02]: Really?
[00:27:41] [SPEAKER_02]: So they go that far back.
[00:27:42] [SPEAKER_02]: He was running a barn and out of remworld and uh, he was running a bar.
[00:27:47] [SPEAKER_03]: And then he's sorry.
[00:27:48] [SPEAKER_03]: I just, a mad.
[00:27:50] [SPEAKER_03]: It's a space movie and we're in a 50s diner.
[00:27:53] [SPEAKER_02]: I like she's a short order cook.
[00:27:55] [SPEAKER_02]: What is going on?
[00:27:57] [SPEAKER_02]: What is OV1 order?
[00:27:58] [SPEAKER_02]: I don't remember.
[00:27:58] [SPEAKER_02]: Did they eat anything?
[00:27:59] [SPEAKER_02]: No, they don't eat it.
[00:28:00] [SPEAKER_02]: You know, which is kind of annoying.
[00:28:01] [SPEAKER_02]: I wish OV1 could be like, get me some fried crack.
[00:28:04] [SPEAKER_02]: But the leg.
[00:28:05] [SPEAKER_02]: This is important.
[00:28:06] [SPEAKER_01]: Like if they're green.
[00:28:07] [SPEAKER_01]: Let's to me forget this movie takes place a long time ago.
[00:28:12] [SPEAKER_01]: True.
[00:28:12] [SPEAKER_02]: So you're saying far far away.
[00:28:14] [SPEAKER_02]: The argument is that Dex actually set the mold for the 50s diner.
[00:28:18] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, because we walk in here and there's like some sort of like, like, like,
[00:28:23] [SPEAKER_01]: like very 50s like do I be kind of like music playing on the street?
[00:28:27] [SPEAKER_02]: Like a railroad diner in the 50s.
[00:28:29] [SPEAKER_02]: This diner will be like pleasant though.
[00:28:30] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, it looks like a happy day set.
[00:28:32] [SPEAKER_01]: Talk about pleasant though.
[00:28:33] [SPEAKER_01]: Oh, I love pleasant.
[00:28:34] [SPEAKER_01]: Such a good movie.
[00:28:35] [SPEAKER_01]: It looks like a happy day set.
[00:28:37] [SPEAKER_01]: And the first thing we see when we enter the diner is this like,
[00:28:40] [SPEAKER_01]: a playlist.
[00:28:41] [SPEAKER_01]: She's got like one roller leg and she's like painted red and she goes,
[00:28:45] [SPEAKER_01]: like, oh honey, sit anywhere you like.
[00:28:47] [SPEAKER_02]: Oh right.
[00:28:47] [SPEAKER_02]: I forgot about that.
[00:28:48] [SPEAKER_02]: That was a real jets in this moment.
[00:28:50] [SPEAKER_02]: That's a character ray out of the jetsons.
[00:28:52] [SPEAKER_01]: Right.
[00:28:52] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
[00:28:53] [SPEAKER_02]: It's down to the wheel.
[00:28:54] [SPEAKER_02]: Like where it's like we've seen like floating robots.
[00:28:58] [SPEAKER_02]: We've seen robots with like legs.
[00:28:59] [SPEAKER_02]: Like why does this robot?
[00:29:00] [SPEAKER_02]: So it's like kind of junky like that.
[00:29:02] [SPEAKER_01]: But the design.
[00:29:03] [SPEAKER_01]: She is very much like a 50s design of how a robot would look.
[00:29:07] [SPEAKER_01]: Also painted to look like she's wearing 50s.
[00:29:10] [SPEAKER_01]: She's clothing.
[00:29:11] [SPEAKER_01]: Also talking.
[00:29:12] [SPEAKER_01]: Also the talk like she's from.
[00:29:14] [SPEAKER_02]: Like it's so jetsons that you want her to go like,
[00:29:17] [SPEAKER_02]: like you want there to be that sound effect of those sort of blinking noise they may.
[00:29:20] [SPEAKER_02]: Right.
[00:29:21] [SPEAKER_01]: But this is like a real down homie place.
[00:29:23] [SPEAKER_01]: Down homie.
[00:29:24] [SPEAKER_01]: Uh, a texture gesture perhaps created a 50s culture.
[00:29:28] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
[00:29:29] [SPEAKER_01]: Right.
[00:29:30] [SPEAKER_01]: He established it.
[00:29:31] [SPEAKER_01]: He established it.
[00:29:32] [SPEAKER_01]: That in fact, what we identify as being the 50s culture was a throwback to what
[00:29:36] [SPEAKER_01]: Dexter had done a long time ago and a galaxy far far away.
[00:29:39] [SPEAKER_02]: Anyway, so their relationship according to Wikipedia and dirt over the years and they
[00:29:42] [SPEAKER_02]: kept running into each other.
[00:29:44] [SPEAKER_02]: He had always dreamed of open a restaurant on Carson.
[00:29:48] [SPEAKER_02]: I guess.
[00:29:49] [SPEAKER_02]: So he achieved his dream.
[00:29:51] [SPEAKER_02]: It's kind of.
[00:29:52] [SPEAKER_03]: And yeah, you know, he, uh, he didn't model it after anything.
[00:29:55] [SPEAKER_03]: He came up with an original idea for a restaurant.
[00:29:59] [SPEAKER_03]: Just to be clear.
[00:30:01] [SPEAKER_04]: And as far as the first.
[00:30:02] [SPEAKER_02]: As far as Wikipedia, as far as Wikipedia knows,
[00:30:04] [SPEAKER_02]: he's still alive and cooking.
[00:30:05] [SPEAKER_02]: You know, he doesn't have some tragic end in the expanded universe where it's like,
[00:30:08] [SPEAKER_02]: I mean, you got, you know, shot in the head by a space of sass and he, you know,
[00:30:13] [SPEAKER_02]: bled out or whatever.
[00:30:14] [SPEAKER_02]: Like he's just running his diner.
[00:30:16] [SPEAKER_01]: I do appreciate that he actually has Wikipedia entry after our, our face,
[00:30:20] [SPEAKER_01]: a plant of last week in which every character we looked up had like one,
[00:30:24] [SPEAKER_01]: yeah, one, one, one out of the kitchen.
[00:30:25] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, they're, they're just on.
[00:30:26] [SPEAKER_01]: There's a chunk.
[00:30:27] [SPEAKER_01]: That's nice.
[00:30:27] [SPEAKER_02]: Someone comes with a material about him.
[00:30:30] [SPEAKER_01]: I think because there you got some panels from some comic books.
[00:30:32] [SPEAKER_01]: Well, that's tight.
[00:30:32] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, that's tight.
[00:30:33] [SPEAKER_01]: That's real tight.
[00:30:35] [SPEAKER_01]: Um, what was I guys say?
[00:30:37] [SPEAKER_01]: Here's another element of Dexter Jetsor.
[00:30:38] [SPEAKER_01]: This might just become the Dexter Jetsor episode.
[00:30:40] [SPEAKER_01]: Now we're good to talk about clones, but he's my favorite character in the fall.
[00:30:43] [SPEAKER_01]: Um, we see the diner.
[00:30:45] [SPEAKER_01]: It resembles a sort of 50s Americana iconography that we know.
[00:30:49] [SPEAKER_01]: Then the next thing we see is the way he trace.
[00:30:52] [SPEAKER_01]: Uh, honey, sit where you'd like when she says honey,
[00:30:54] [SPEAKER_01]: which is a kind of like, you know,
[00:30:56] [SPEAKER_01]: cloak of all this and that we haven't heard.
[00:30:58] [SPEAKER_01]: That's true.
[00:30:59] [SPEAKER_01]: That's true.
[00:31:00] [SPEAKER_01]: Everyone's talking so formally in these films.
[00:31:02] [SPEAKER_02]: Like in like, but it's so chari-
[00:31:04] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
[00:31:05] [SPEAKER_02]: Okay.
[00:31:05] [SPEAKER_02]: So she's got 20, 40 minutes on this point.
[00:31:08] [SPEAKER_02]: I think it's like a diner scene where we get to the fucking clone.
[00:31:10] [SPEAKER_02]: This might just be a diner episode.
[00:31:12] [SPEAKER_02]: Ah, diner.
[00:31:13] [SPEAKER_02]: Um, so okay.
[00:31:15] [SPEAKER_02]: Tony's a shocking scene in the film.
[00:31:16] [SPEAKER_02]: In that way. Like you're just like,
[00:31:17] [SPEAKER_02]: Whoa, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait.
[00:31:19] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, because I'm here to see Dexter Jetsor.
[00:31:21] [SPEAKER_01]: And she goes,
[00:31:21] [SPEAKER_01]: Dexter, he's someone he had to see.
[00:31:23] [SPEAKER_01]: He turns around.
[00:31:24] [SPEAKER_01]: We see him.
[00:31:25] [SPEAKER_01]: He's got the greasy shirt.
[00:31:26] [SPEAKER_01]: Big belly mustache wide smile.
[00:31:28] [SPEAKER_01]: Oh, oh.
[00:31:29] [SPEAKER_01]: Oh, oh.
[00:31:29] [SPEAKER_01]: Okay. Here we go.
[00:31:30] [SPEAKER_01]: And then his voice comes out.
[00:31:32] [SPEAKER_01]: And I cannot, I've now watched them movie me five times.
[00:31:35] [SPEAKER_01]: I cannot place his accent.
[00:31:36] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, it's true.
[00:31:37] [SPEAKER_01]: What is that accent?
[00:31:38] [SPEAKER_01]: Cause you're so away from the cult like,
[00:31:39] [SPEAKER_01]: yeah, I'll be one.
[00:31:41] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, fuck, I has a cult.
[00:31:42] [SPEAKER_01]: Like for him to have an accent that matches the voice of the waitress.
[00:31:46] [SPEAKER_01]: And he does not.
[00:31:47] [SPEAKER_01]: The actor is Australian.
[00:31:49] [SPEAKER_01]: But it almost sounds like he's playing at Scottish.
[00:31:51] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, no.
[00:31:52] [SPEAKER_01]: Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh.
[00:31:53] [SPEAKER_02]: You're not doing it right, but you're close.
[00:31:56] [SPEAKER_02]: It's like, I know how you're supposed to be.
[00:31:57] [SPEAKER_02]: There's so many, there's so many.
[00:31:58] [SPEAKER_02]: Which maybe that's a good idea.
[00:32:00] [SPEAKER_02]: Like he's a melting pot?
[00:32:01] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, don't have him just sound like like some Brooklyn like chef,
[00:32:05] [SPEAKER_02]: like, you know, like don't.
[00:32:07] [SPEAKER_02]: He's fine, making hard to play some.
[00:32:08] [SPEAKER_02]: He isn't alien after all.
[00:32:09] [SPEAKER_01]: He's got like a Scottish like broke, but with the sort of like inflections of an Australian,
[00:32:19] [SPEAKER_01]: but he's ostensibly doing an American accent.
[00:32:22] [SPEAKER_01]: Right.
[00:32:23] [SPEAKER_01]: It's interesting.
[00:32:25] [SPEAKER_01]: Who is the actor?
[00:32:26] [SPEAKER_01]: I looked about he's like an Australian character.
[00:32:27] [SPEAKER_01]: He doesn't tell a lot.
[00:32:28] [SPEAKER_01]: The voice is great.
[00:32:29] [SPEAKER_01]: I mean, he's got an amazing like robust.
[00:32:31] [SPEAKER_01]: Great.
[00:32:32] [SPEAKER_01]: It's it's okay.
[00:32:32] [SPEAKER_01]: I'm not saying it's well, once again, say it for the performance of you.
[00:32:35] [SPEAKER_01]: But I'm just saying that he does have this booming powerful voice.
[00:32:38] [SPEAKER_01]: Like there's a lot of personality there.
[00:32:40] [SPEAKER_01]: Ronald Fulk.
[00:32:41] [SPEAKER_01]: That's his boy around.
[00:32:42] [SPEAKER_01]: Fuck, I'd fuck you, so hard.
[00:32:45] [SPEAKER_01]: Mmm.
[00:32:45] [SPEAKER_01]: I don't know about that.
[00:32:46] [SPEAKER_01]: I get four hands out of some of his forearm.
[00:32:48] [SPEAKER_02]: I mean, yeah, I mean, he would be, you'd have a lot, he could do.
[00:32:51] [SPEAKER_02]: He could do.
[00:32:52] [SPEAKER_02]: It's easy.
[00:32:53] [SPEAKER_02]: What are some of his other cuts?
[00:32:55] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, it's a lot of Australian TV shows, including the damnation of Harvey McHugh.
[00:33:02] Yeah.
[00:33:02] [SPEAKER_01]: I don't have much for you.
[00:33:03] [SPEAKER_01]: Okay, let's get back to the meat of what he says.
[00:33:05] [SPEAKER_01]: Because there's a lot of interesting information conveyed here.
[00:33:07] [SPEAKER_01]: He's like, oh, this is dark.
[00:33:09] [SPEAKER_01]: And no, it comes from a Comeoni.
[00:33:11] [SPEAKER_01]: Keep comingo.
[00:33:13] [SPEAKER_01]: Comeino.
[00:33:13] [SPEAKER_01]: Wow, it's splitting here.
[00:33:14] [SPEAKER_01]: It's splitting mustache hairs.
[00:33:17] [SPEAKER_01]: Um, and he's like, comeino.
[00:33:19] [SPEAKER_01]: And he's like, what's that?
[00:33:20] [SPEAKER_01]: And he's like, it's a far out planet.
[00:33:22] [SPEAKER_01]: It's a good place to go if you like, cloning.
[00:33:27] [SPEAKER_01]: It's a planet of cloners.
[00:33:28] [SPEAKER_01]: The whole planet does one thing.
[00:33:30] [SPEAKER_01]: All it does is clone.
[00:33:31] [SPEAKER_02]: And he describes it as being like way off the way on the outer rim.
[00:33:36] [SPEAKER_02]: And like, yeah, really, really, really secret.
[00:33:40] [SPEAKER_01]: Oh, this is a big detail.
[00:33:41] [SPEAKER_01]: He says he knows about it because he found it.
[00:33:43] [SPEAKER_01]: It is prospecting days.
[00:33:45] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, right.
[00:33:45] [SPEAKER_01]: He was a prospecter.
[00:33:47] [SPEAKER_01]: Okay.
[00:33:47] [SPEAKER_01]: Working in the outer rim.
[00:33:49] [SPEAKER_01]: Right.
[00:33:49] [SPEAKER_01]: Found this planet.
[00:33:50] [SPEAKER_01]: Was like, what's your deal here?
[00:33:51] [SPEAKER_01]: They're like, we cloned.
[00:33:53] [SPEAKER_01]: He's like, what else?
[00:33:53] [SPEAKER_01]: They're like nothing else.
[00:33:55] [SPEAKER_01]: And he's like, oh, I got for you.
[00:33:56] [SPEAKER_01]: I'll come back if I ever need clones.
[00:33:59] [SPEAKER_01]: So, um, and he says like they're there, you know, a little reserved.
[00:34:04] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, they're a little formal.
[00:34:06] [SPEAKER_01]: You know, they're judged and goes, how do you win them over?
[00:34:07] [SPEAKER_01]: And he goes, it's about, you know, the strength that your manners
[00:34:10] [SPEAKER_01]: and the size of your pocketbook.
[00:34:12] [SPEAKER_01]: He says something like that with like a smile, with like a slight grin.
[00:34:14] [SPEAKER_02]: They are south of the Rishi maze, which is a satellite galaxy,
[00:34:19] [SPEAKER_02]: orbiting the galaxy.
[00:34:21] [SPEAKER_01]: So, you know, he's interested in this.
[00:34:24] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
[00:34:24] [SPEAKER_00]: Because this is from a bounty hunter.
[00:34:26] [SPEAKER_01]: But it's also from a kimono.
[00:34:29] [SPEAKER_01]: Kimono.
[00:34:30] [SPEAKER_01]: Okay.
[00:34:32] [SPEAKER_01]: He's wearing a kimono.
[00:34:34] [SPEAKER_01]: Yep.
[00:34:35] [SPEAKER_01]: No, the next character we see is wearing kimono.
[00:34:37] [SPEAKER_01]: He goes to the Jedi Temple Archives.
[00:34:40] [SPEAKER_01]: That's right.
[00:34:40] [SPEAKER_01]: That's the library.
[00:34:41] [SPEAKER_01]: Talks to you.
[00:34:42] [SPEAKER_03]: Now, just so I'm clear.
[00:34:44] [SPEAKER_03]: Missicle fighting order, right?
[00:34:47] [SPEAKER_03]: Mm-hmm.
[00:34:47] [SPEAKER_03]: Jedi's.
[00:34:48] [SPEAKER_03]: They put this one guy on the case.
[00:34:50] [SPEAKER_03]: He goes to a forensics expert, let's say.
[00:34:53] [SPEAKER_03]: His buddy at a 50's diner.
[00:34:55] [SPEAKER_03]: Right.
[00:34:56] [SPEAKER_03]: Okay, and now he's going to the Archives.
[00:34:58] [SPEAKER_03]: Cool.
[00:34:59] [SPEAKER_03]: All right.
[00:34:59] [SPEAKER_02]: This is from the Planet Camino.
[00:35:02] [SPEAKER_02]: Great.
[00:35:02] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
[00:35:02] [SPEAKER_03]: I just wanted to make sure that it's the thread so far.
[00:35:05] [SPEAKER_01]: I mean, when you put it like that, that it sounds great.
[00:35:07] [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
[00:35:08] [SPEAKER_03]: It sounds though like a ridiculous detective move.
[00:35:11] [SPEAKER_02]: It's so cool.
[00:35:13] [SPEAKER_02]: But it's the basics of it.
[00:35:14] [SPEAKER_02]: You know, there's not a lot of intricacy to it.
[00:35:16] [SPEAKER_02]: It's like they get the assassin, the assassin dies, the dart.
[00:35:20] [SPEAKER_02]: Where does this point to?
[00:35:22] [SPEAKER_02]: Camino.
[00:35:23] [SPEAKER_02]: All right.
[00:35:23] [SPEAKER_02]: You know, like, if they're moving pretty quickly.
[00:35:25] [SPEAKER_01]: Up until this point, you're like maybe he's going to have to keep on searching and
[00:35:28] [SPEAKER_01]: we're going to see every time we come back to Obi-Wan.
[00:35:29] [SPEAKER_01]: He's in a different place talking to a different person.
[00:35:32] [SPEAKER_01]: Right.
[00:35:32] [SPEAKER_01]: Meaning all different, you know, no.
[00:35:34] [SPEAKER_01]: But I like the direction it's going into up until this point goes to the library.
[00:35:37] [SPEAKER_01]: Your costume, new.
[00:35:38] [SPEAKER_01]: Jocacino.
[00:35:39] [SPEAKER_01]: Good old Jocacino wearing a wearing a wearing a.
[00:35:41] [SPEAKER_01]: Come on, oh, she is the Jedi library.
[00:35:43] [SPEAKER_01]: She's got like chopsticks in her hair.
[00:35:45] [SPEAKER_01]: She's got chopsticks in her hair.
[00:35:47] [SPEAKER_01]: Um, she's a real funny daddy.
[00:35:49] [SPEAKER_01]: Fun fact about Jocacacino.
[00:35:51] [SPEAKER_01]: Nope.
[00:35:51] [SPEAKER_01]: I got one for any of those.
[00:35:53] [SPEAKER_01]: I got one for you.
[00:35:54] [SPEAKER_01]: A little merchandise spotlight.
[00:35:56] [SPEAKER_01]: Jocacino was a maid into an action figure only a couple years ago after rampant
[00:36:02] [SPEAKER_01]: fan demand.
[00:36:04] [SPEAKER_01]: She was no joke the most demanded unmade attack of the clones character.
[00:36:09] [SPEAKER_01]: Why?
[00:36:10] [SPEAKER_01]: I don't know, but fans are going, but they were just kept on setting emails going.
[00:36:14] [SPEAKER_01]: Make us Jocacacino and they were like, what's 13 years ago?
[00:36:16] [SPEAKER_01]: Get over it.
[00:36:17] [SPEAKER_01]: She's also like so annoying.
[00:36:19] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, like she to me represents everything that sucks about the Jedi which is like
[00:36:24] [SPEAKER_02]: Obi-Wan is like, uh, Camino is missing from the our Jedi archives.
[00:36:28] [SPEAKER_02]: Like it's this planet should be here and it's not here.
[00:36:31] [SPEAKER_02]: And she rather than like say like, wow, that's weird.
[00:36:34] [SPEAKER_02]: She's like, if it's not in the archives, it doesn't exist.
[00:36:37] [SPEAKER_02]: She's throwing a lot of shade.
[00:36:38] [SPEAKER_02]: Like she can't accept the, uh, the integrity of her system could have been breached.
[00:36:44] [SPEAKER_01]: So instead a whole planet must not exist.
[00:36:46] [SPEAKER_01]: But she also says it with like a kind of mean girl like,
[00:36:49] [SPEAKER_01]: wow, if it's not in here, then it doesn't exist because I do my job correctly.
[00:36:53] [SPEAKER_02]: Obi-Wan should be like yo, there's been a breach like you should be fired because he goes to Yoda
[00:36:57] [SPEAKER_02]: and Yoda runs the question by a bunch of six year olds and the six year olds are like someone to leave.
[00:37:02] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, like the six year olds can figure it out.
[00:37:05] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, he's like how?
[00:37:07] [SPEAKER_01]: If there's a planet that's not in the library, how can it exist?
[00:37:10] [SPEAKER_01]: And a six year olds like, well, someone took it out of the library.
[00:37:13] [SPEAKER_02]: That means by the way, one of the most wrenchingly awkward like it takes forever.
[00:37:17] [SPEAKER_02]: You know, just being so sweet and sickly.
[00:37:20] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
[00:37:20] [SPEAKER_02]: Matthew, you know, someone to leave from the day I asked kids.
[00:37:23] [SPEAKER_02]: I love this little chat.
[00:37:24] [SPEAKER_02]: You're, you, this is, I think there's more tension between us this time.
[00:37:28] [SPEAKER_02]: Like, because I don't want to talk about this side of a tag of clones or as I'm like a little pissed off at it.
[00:37:33] [SPEAKER_02]: You're definitely a little pissed at it.
[00:37:34] [SPEAKER_02]: I was so pumped for it and then it was a really annoying disappointment.
[00:37:39] [SPEAKER_01]: I'm charmed by so much of that.
[00:37:41] [SPEAKER_01]: But I get that.
[00:37:44] [SPEAKER_01]: So they tell them, they tell them, it's not in there, right?
[00:37:48] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, they tell them it's not in there.
[00:37:49] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
[00:37:50] [SPEAKER_01]: How does he fling did that?
[00:37:51] [SPEAKER_01]: I already forget how he then finds it.
[00:37:54] [SPEAKER_02]: Um, I guess he just goes there.
[00:37:58] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, there's like no real ex, well, because it's like, he knows where it's supposed to be.
[00:38:05] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
[00:38:05] [SPEAKER_01]: So, right, right.
[00:38:06] [SPEAKER_01]: The question wasn't he was trying to find the location.
[00:38:07] [SPEAKER_01]: He was trying to find information.
[00:38:09] [SPEAKER_01]: So we didn't have to take a whole fucking trip to get there.
[00:38:11] [SPEAKER_01]: He's trying to see, like, is there a number I can call?
[00:38:13] [SPEAKER_01]: Is there an email address?
[00:38:15] [SPEAKER_01]: And they were like, nope, you just got to go.
[00:38:18] [SPEAKER_01]: I'm email address.
[00:38:20] [SPEAKER_01]: Dexter's told you it's in the out of RAM.
[00:38:21] [SPEAKER_01]: Just keep on driving.
[00:38:22] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
[00:38:22] [SPEAKER_02]: He says it's here.
[00:38:23] [SPEAKER_02]: It's next to the, what's it called, the maze, the, uh, next to the old prospect or mine?
[00:38:28] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, the Rishi maze, which is some, you know, which is a galaxy with an
[00:38:31] [SPEAKER_02]: galaxy.
[00:38:32] [SPEAKER_02]: I've no idea where it is.
[00:38:32] [SPEAKER_02]: It's a couple of parsecs away from there.
[00:38:34] [SPEAKER_02]: He says that.
[00:38:35] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
[00:38:36] [SPEAKER_02]: And so OV1 is like, you know, there's nothing here.
[00:38:39] [SPEAKER_02]: I guess someone hacked our archives.
[00:38:41] [SPEAKER_02]: No one deals with that information.
[00:38:42] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
[00:38:43] [SPEAKER_02]: This should be a monumental because the way she's acting is like, that would be impossible.
[00:38:47] [SPEAKER_02]: Wow.
[00:38:48] [SPEAKER_02]: Maybe there's a mole in the JETA organization.
[00:38:50] [SPEAKER_01]: And entire planet not there, not possible to pan it.
[00:38:53] [SPEAKER_01]: And it does exist.
[00:38:53] [SPEAKER_02]: Yoda shares this information with some six year olds and no one else.
[00:38:56] [SPEAKER_01]: It doesn't spin.
[00:38:57] [SPEAKER_01]: Yoda has like this real fear of shit leaking this whole movie.
[00:39:00] [SPEAKER_01]: So he's like, I'm only talking about this with whoever's in this room right now.
[00:39:04] [SPEAKER_01]: But we then I'll talk about it.
[00:39:05] [SPEAKER_01]: I'll talk about openly, but then never tell anyone else who fucking six year olds.
[00:39:10] [SPEAKER_02]: So OV1 goes in a really cool little ship.
[00:39:13] [SPEAKER_02]: We talk about that ship.
[00:39:14] [SPEAKER_02]: The sort of ring engines.
[00:39:17] [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
[00:39:17] [SPEAKER_00]: It kind of reminds me.
[00:39:19] [SPEAKER_01]: It reminds me of like a ship and like interstellar.
[00:39:23] [SPEAKER_01]: There's a thing where you stick the ring around it.
[00:39:24] [SPEAKER_01]: Then the ship is like able to stir that.
[00:39:27] [SPEAKER_01]: Exactly.
[00:39:28] [SPEAKER_01]: It can leave it.
[00:39:28] [SPEAKER_01]: It's a great looking ship.
[00:39:30] [SPEAKER_01]: It's red.
[00:39:31] [SPEAKER_01]: He's got a dried in there.
[00:39:33] [SPEAKER_01]: There's something.
[00:39:33] [SPEAKER_01]: Something like that.
[00:39:35] [SPEAKER_01]: Uh, are for something something.
[00:39:37] [SPEAKER_01]: They go with the planet.
[00:39:39] [SPEAKER_01]: They land.
[00:39:40] [SPEAKER_01]: Now a lot of plants we've seen in this Phantom Manus universe are themed.
[00:39:44] [SPEAKER_01]: Oh, we got a desert planet.
[00:39:46] [SPEAKER_01]: Of course, on to the planet where the entire planet is a city.
[00:39:49] [SPEAKER_01]: The destroyer.
[00:39:50] [SPEAKER_01]: The blue is more foresty.
[00:39:51] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
[00:39:52] [SPEAKER_02]: The blue is perhaps the most diverse looking planet.
[00:39:54] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
[00:39:54] [SPEAKER_02]: Looks like it's kind of earthy.
[00:39:56] [SPEAKER_02]: Kind of a nicer.
[00:39:57] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
[00:39:57] [SPEAKER_02]: The other is the largest one thing.
[00:39:59] [SPEAKER_02]: Desert.
[00:40:00] [SPEAKER_02]: City.
[00:40:01] [SPEAKER_01]: This is the water planet.
[00:40:03] [SPEAKER_01]: This is water.
[00:40:03] [SPEAKER_01]: This whole planet is pretty much water.
[00:40:06] [SPEAKER_01]: They don't say it, but you see it and it's really overcast.
[00:40:10] [SPEAKER_01]: It's like dark as night.
[00:40:12] [SPEAKER_01]: It's stormy.
[00:40:13] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
[00:40:13] [SPEAKER_01]: It's raining really hard.
[00:40:15] [SPEAKER_01]: It's how you know it's a weather planet because it's a planet where it never stops raining,
[00:40:18] [SPEAKER_01]: apparently.
[00:40:20] [SPEAKER_01]: And the whole thing's covered in water.
[00:40:22] [SPEAKER_01]: And all the buildings are like jet-sins buildings.
[00:40:25] [SPEAKER_01]: Like they're like on sticks elevated above the water.
[00:40:27] [SPEAKER_02]: And they're sort of like saucer-shaped.
[00:40:30] [SPEAKER_02]: Like they have that kind of 50s, 60s sort of world of the future designed to them.
[00:40:34] [SPEAKER_02]: Right.
[00:40:35] [SPEAKER_02]: Right.
[00:40:35] [SPEAKER_01]: And look like the CN tower in Toronto.
[00:40:37] [SPEAKER_02]: And there are this seems to be a planet.
[00:40:39] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
[00:40:39] [SPEAKER_02]: It's just like oceans, giant whales.
[00:40:42] [SPEAKER_02]: And then these, these are very elegant little buildings.
[00:40:45] [SPEAKER_02]: So he jumps inside.
[00:40:47] [SPEAKER_02]: Mm-hmm.
[00:40:48] [SPEAKER_02]: And they're like, just to say it's on that north threat of like, you know,
[00:40:53] [SPEAKER_02]: how it's always like raining in the north.
[00:40:54] [SPEAKER_02]: Oh, yeah.
[00:40:55] [SPEAKER_02]: Right.
[00:40:55] [SPEAKER_02]: So right.
[00:40:56] [SPEAKER_02]: He goes to a planet where it's always raining except then he goes inside like an iPod basically.
[00:41:00] [SPEAKER_01]: Well this is for the whole set looks like an iPod.
[00:41:02] [SPEAKER_01]: The mystery thing falls apart at this very moment.
[00:41:04] [SPEAKER_01]: It's the word.
[00:41:05] [SPEAKER_01]: Because it feels like it's rain.
[00:41:06] [SPEAKER_01]: He's going to review this person.
[00:41:07] [SPEAKER_01]: They're going to lead into another person.
[00:41:09] [SPEAKER_02]: And this is where it falls apart.
[00:41:10] [SPEAKER_02]: The whole movie I would argue falls apart at this point.
[00:41:11] [SPEAKER_01]: He does no work after this point.
[00:41:13] [SPEAKER_01]: Everything I'm charmed by in this movie happens before this very point.
[00:41:18] [SPEAKER_01]: And from then on out, I'm frustrated with this film.
[00:41:21] [SPEAKER_01]: There's still a lot I like overall.
[00:41:24] [SPEAKER_01]: I'm not crazy about it.
[00:41:25] [SPEAKER_01]: But the movie falls apart.
[00:41:27] [SPEAKER_02]: He walks in to, I guess, just like the front entrance of the planet.
[00:41:31] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
[00:41:32] [SPEAKER_02]: It's the visitor center.
[00:41:33] [SPEAKER_02]: That's the right suit.
[00:41:34] [SPEAKER_02]: He's this the whole planet.
[00:41:36] [SPEAKER_02]: Like, yeah, welcome to the entry desk for Camino the planet.
[00:41:39] [SPEAKER_02]: Does he even ring the door?
[00:41:41] [SPEAKER_02]: Walks in.
[00:41:43] [SPEAKER_02]: Camino in.
[00:41:44] [SPEAKER_02]: I don't know how you.
[00:41:46] [SPEAKER_02]: Tonwi.
[00:41:47] [SPEAKER_02]: I believe his surname is Tonwi and she is a,
[00:41:49] [SPEAKER_02]: you know, they're these sort of tall spindly, beam pole, white alien to the long neck.
[00:41:53] [SPEAKER_02]: Kind of similar to Yaryl Poof but not his species, right?
[00:41:57] [SPEAKER_01]: But with like a huge kind of classic,
[00:41:59] [SPEAKER_01]: like, facially they look like your classic kind of like green aliens.
[00:42:03] [SPEAKER_01]: I guess so.
[00:42:03] [SPEAKER_01]: They have like big, like entirely black giant eyes.
[00:42:07] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, oval eyes.
[00:42:07] [SPEAKER_01]: Kind of tiny eyes.
[00:42:08] [SPEAKER_02]: So like the eyes because they have like certain stars in them.
[00:42:12] [SPEAKER_02]: You know, like guys look like the little space.
[00:42:14] [SPEAKER_01]: I will say this is a film that has not a usual technically.
[00:42:17] [SPEAKER_01]: Nope.
[00:42:17] [SPEAKER_01]: The CGI is awful.
[00:42:19] [SPEAKER_01]: Yep.
[00:42:19] [SPEAKER_01]: I would argue these two characters look great.
[00:42:22] [SPEAKER_01]: The design of them is pretty solid.
[00:42:23] [SPEAKER_01]: But even in close up the detail work is really strong.
[00:42:26] [SPEAKER_01]: The lip syncing is not great.
[00:42:28] [SPEAKER_01]: I think because the lips were so small, they didn't have enough.
[00:42:30] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, they're mouth just kind of.
[00:42:30] [SPEAKER_01]: Flexibility, they're moves.
[00:42:31] [SPEAKER_01]: It's just kind of muck it the move.
[00:42:33] [SPEAKER_01]: But but they look amazing.
[00:42:34] [SPEAKER_01]: They look good.
[00:42:35] [SPEAKER_01]: The only problem is they're so boring.
[00:42:37] [SPEAKER_02]: They're the most boring.
[00:42:38] [SPEAKER_02]: Cause they're just like, welcome.
[00:42:39] [SPEAKER_02]: How are you doing?
[00:42:40] [SPEAKER_02]: I heard Jedi Master, right?
[00:42:41] [SPEAKER_01]: The big reason I bought the film was so that I could rewatch these scenes like three times on the train ride here.
[00:42:47] [SPEAKER_01]: Because every time I watch it, I just get so in trans by how they look and so bored by what they're saying that I just don't pay attention.
[00:42:55] [SPEAKER_01]: But I've now watched it like six times today.
[00:42:58] [SPEAKER_01]: So here's the basic thing.
[00:43:00] [SPEAKER_01]: They recount to him.
[00:43:01] [SPEAKER_01]: Hey, your order is ready.
[00:43:04] [SPEAKER_02]: It is literally like he shows up.
[00:43:06] [SPEAKER_02]: He does not identify himself.
[00:43:09] [SPEAKER_02]: He does not say like, my name is Master Obi-Wan Kenobi, but you know, he's just like, hello
[00:43:15] [SPEAKER_02]: and they're like, you're the Jedi.
[00:43:16] [SPEAKER_02]: They see those clones.
[00:43:17] [SPEAKER_01]: Well, they know 10 years like Jedi's dress.
[00:43:19] [SPEAKER_01]: Oh, that order, 10 years ago you're finally here to pick it up.
[00:43:22] [SPEAKER_01]: It's just about ready.
[00:43:22] [SPEAKER_01]: You've been waiting for you for much.
[00:43:25] [SPEAKER_01]: The leader men they bring him back to Lama Sue.
[00:43:28] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, who's like, I guess lead the minister.
[00:43:30] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
[00:43:31] [SPEAKER_01]: And he's like, uh, your order is great.
[00:43:33] [SPEAKER_02]: So there's those of the only two we ever meet.
[00:43:35] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
[00:43:36] [SPEAKER_01]: We never see another one.
[00:43:37] [SPEAKER_01]: You see, in the other.
[00:43:38] [SPEAKER_01]: There's more on the training, the little clone.
[00:43:41] [SPEAKER_01]: All right.
[00:43:41] [SPEAKER_01]: But those are the only two we really meet.
[00:43:42] [SPEAKER_01]: You they're like tiny and wide shot, you see some other ones going back.
[00:43:48] [SPEAKER_01]: But they essentially go like, okay, so your order.
[00:43:50] [SPEAKER_01]: I mean, do you want to worship it?
[00:43:50] [SPEAKER_01]: Do you want to take it to go?
[00:43:51] [SPEAKER_01]: Credder, debit, like set PayPal.
[00:43:54] [SPEAKER_01]: Like they're going over.
[00:43:55] [SPEAKER_01]: And it'll be once like, hold on one second.
[00:43:57] [SPEAKER_02]: Excuse me.
[00:43:58] [SPEAKER_02]: What, what, what are we talking about?
[00:44:00] [SPEAKER_02]: What are we?
[00:44:01] [SPEAKER_02]: Uh, with a little.
[00:44:02] [SPEAKER_02]: And they're like, oh, well, you don't know what we're talking about.
[00:44:06] [SPEAKER_02]: But let's just explain the whole thing to you even though it was obviously done in total
[00:44:08] [SPEAKER_02]: secret.
[00:44:09] [SPEAKER_01]: Right.
[00:44:09] [SPEAKER_01]: And they're like, you're a psychodeous, right?
[00:44:11] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
[00:44:11] [SPEAKER_01]: You're a Jedi Master's psychodeous?
[00:44:12] [SPEAKER_01]: And he's like, nope, Obi-Wan can Obi.
[00:44:14] [SPEAKER_01]: And they're like, okay, well, you know, a psychodeous.
[00:44:16] [SPEAKER_01]: I'm sure you work them very closely at order key place and he's like, uh, a
[00:44:19] [SPEAKER_01]: Sephideous has been dead for a day.
[00:44:21] [SPEAKER_01]: Oh, wild.
[00:44:21] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
[00:44:22] [SPEAKER_01]: I guess the implication is he died around the time of the Phantom Menace.
[00:44:25] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, because the Phantom Menace, it's about 10 years earlier.
[00:44:27] [SPEAKER_01]: So sometime with that character we never saw or heard referred to in the Phantom Menace is now
[00:44:31] [SPEAKER_01]: dead.
[00:44:32] [SPEAKER_01]: And they go, he placed an order for an army of clones.
[00:44:38] [SPEAKER_02]: And I wish they told us not that credits we know it like, yeah, they exchange.
[00:44:43] [SPEAKER_02]: But like, it must have been for the most ungodly amount of money.
[00:44:47] [SPEAKER_02]: He, they've grown a planet of clones for the Jedi's, I guess, or they're probably somewhat.
[00:44:51] [SPEAKER_01]: Well, they say who's the army for and they go to the Galactic Republic, of course.
[00:44:55] [SPEAKER_01]: It's like, oh, interesting.
[00:44:57] [SPEAKER_01]: That Galactic Republic that's now voting on an army.
[00:45:00] [SPEAKER_01]: And this order was 10 years ago.
[00:45:02] [SPEAKER_01]: By a Jedi, uh, here's how most, uh,
[00:45:06] [SPEAKER_01]: countries, nations work when they want an army.
[00:45:10] [SPEAKER_01]: They go, hey, does anyone want to be in this army?
[00:45:13] [SPEAKER_01]: Right.
[00:45:13] [SPEAKER_01]: Or they...
[00:45:15] [SPEAKER_01]: They'll pay you.
[00:45:15] [SPEAKER_01]: Perhaps.
[00:45:16] [SPEAKER_01]: Or they draft you.
[00:45:17] [SPEAKER_01]: They go, they're like, it's the law for you to be in the army.
[00:45:19] [SPEAKER_01]: Right.
[00:45:19] [SPEAKER_01]: They don't go, let's make people to make an army.
[00:45:23] [SPEAKER_01]: If you want secret.
[00:45:25] [SPEAKER_01]: Now we've seen some droid armies up until this point, but they're not great.
[00:45:28] [SPEAKER_02]: No, they, they are pretty problematic.
[00:45:30] [SPEAKER_02]: They're governed from like a central computer.
[00:45:31] [SPEAKER_02]: You blow up the computer.
[00:45:33] [SPEAKER_02]: The droid army's dead.
[00:45:34] [SPEAKER_01]: Also, they're glitchy.
[00:45:35] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, they're, they walk like babies with poop in their diapers.
[00:45:39] [SPEAKER_01]: I mean, anything that can be beaten by Jogra Banks is not really worth putting out in the battlefield.
[00:45:45] [SPEAKER_01]: It's a real disaster.
[00:45:46] [SPEAKER_02]: So this army we learn has been cloned from a bounty hunter named Django Fett.
[00:45:52] [SPEAKER_02]: I'm a Mandalorian.
[00:45:53] [SPEAKER_02]: Uh, great idea.
[00:45:55] [SPEAKER_02]: Build an army out of like a renegade assassin.
[00:45:57] [SPEAKER_02]: Like that's a great, you know, stocked a build for...
[00:46:00] [SPEAKER_02]: I mean, I, this is obviously, we were told they've been programmed to be a beaten.
[00:46:03] [SPEAKER_01]: But we got, we got a dig into this more.
[00:46:05] [SPEAKER_01]: It's just safe.
[00:46:06] [SPEAKER_01]: This is the craziest concept in the entire movie.
[00:46:08] [SPEAKER_01]: So what was all, I just, just to, it's to, it fell on the blanks here.
[00:46:12] [SPEAKER_01]: So they go, say for D.S.
[00:46:13] [SPEAKER_01]: Because the guy's dead and goes, well, I mean, would you like to see the army anyway?
[00:46:16] Right.
[00:46:17] [SPEAKER_01]: Like, we built the dead big for you.
[00:46:19] [SPEAKER_01]: I'll give you a tour, right?
[00:46:20] [SPEAKER_01]: Because what we want doesn't let on that he like doesn't want it.
[00:46:24] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, he's just like, or he kind of starts playing along.
[00:46:27] [SPEAKER_02]: And yeah, I suppose that's going with the normal element where he's like stumbles into a situation
[00:46:30] [SPEAKER_02]: where he can kind of supply cool.
[00:46:32] [SPEAKER_02]: But like, I mean, it is not a convincing performance.
[00:46:34] [SPEAKER_01]: Right, but they're kind of like, oh, I'm so sorry.
[00:46:37] [SPEAKER_01]: No one told you, I said for D.S. place in order, so you can just pick it up now.
[00:46:41] [SPEAKER_01]: They don't even ask for like, I decar.
[00:46:43] [SPEAKER_01]: No, no, they're like, this is our music almost right?
[00:46:46] [SPEAKER_02]: Like, surely we pretty easy for someone to get some robes in a fake lightsaber and be like,
[00:46:50] [SPEAKER_02]: I'm a Jedi, hello!
[00:46:52] [SPEAKER_02]: So there are a couple big points of, yeah, that's all you need.
[00:46:55] [SPEAKER_00]: In verification, Jedi, to where we're going.
[00:46:59] [SPEAKER_01]: By that logic, my grandpa could be a Jedi, my grandpa's dead.
[00:47:03] [SPEAKER_01]: He never even worked. I guess he wore a bathroom.
[00:47:06] [SPEAKER_01]: Okay, so a couple big points of logic.
[00:47:07] [SPEAKER_02]: We can tell you talked about your dead grandparents on this podcast.
[00:47:10] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, that was funny thing was they married to each other and then they both died.
[00:47:14] [SPEAKER_01]: No, I think your grandmother wasn't dead.
[00:47:17] [SPEAKER_01]: Well, we don't know.
[00:47:17] [SPEAKER_01]: We don't know.
[00:47:18] [SPEAKER_01]: Because I never saw.
[00:47:19] [SPEAKER_01]: And to that point, my grandfather might not be dead either.
[00:47:26] [SPEAKER_03]: We didn't cut that out.
[00:47:28] [SPEAKER_01]: No, no, no, we're not cutting that out.
[00:47:30] [SPEAKER_01]: Two big points of logic here.
[00:47:33] [SPEAKER_01]: One, this is a planet of cloners.
[00:47:35] [SPEAKER_01]: He makes a sound like, oh, that's the thing they're best at.
[00:47:37] [SPEAKER_01]: When we get there, it's like all these little jets and houses,
[00:47:40] [SPEAKER_01]: look identical.
[00:47:41] [SPEAKER_01]: You walk in through the first one.
[00:47:42] [SPEAKER_01]: They're like, hi, welcome to our clone base.
[00:47:44] [SPEAKER_01]: It seems like literally everyone on this planet, whether or not they want to,
[00:47:47] [SPEAKER_01]: has to work in the field of cloning.
[00:47:49] [SPEAKER_01]: Yes, that is their one business.
[00:47:52] [SPEAKER_01]: Now, I mean, are they always cloning armies or is it usually like that's my big quest?
[00:47:59] [SPEAKER_01]: Someone comes in and they're like, hey, I just want, what else do they do?
[00:48:02] [SPEAKER_01]: I want two dads can solve it.
[00:48:03] [SPEAKER_02]: He's just like great.
[00:48:04] [SPEAKER_02]: Someone puts an order and they're like, I need an army 10 years from now.
[00:48:08] [SPEAKER_02]: That's the thing.
[00:48:09] [SPEAKER_02]: Thank God someone came in and placed an order for a galactic army.
[00:48:13] [SPEAKER_02]: Or else we really, we don't have much to do.
[00:48:16] [SPEAKER_01]: It reminds me of like, I met my friend stepdad.
[00:48:19] [SPEAKER_01]: I met him like right after the economy collapsed and I was like, what do you do?
[00:48:23] [SPEAKER_01]: And he's like, I'm a yacht salesman.
[00:48:25] [SPEAKER_01]: And I was like, oh boy, that must not be a great business to be in right now.
[00:48:29] [SPEAKER_01]: He's like, yeah, a lot of yachts being sold.
[00:48:32] [SPEAKER_01]: Not a lot of people with the cash to buy a yacht.
[00:48:34] [SPEAKER_01]: And he was like, but it'll pick up.
[00:48:35] [SPEAKER_01]: He was like, well, when they kind of me recovers,
[00:48:38] [SPEAKER_01]: then I'll be back in business.
[00:48:39] [SPEAKER_01]: And it's like, are they just that or they just like, well,
[00:48:42] [SPEAKER_01]: you know, everyone's the one you get a massive order that cost
[00:48:45] [SPEAKER_01]: millions, billions of credits.
[00:48:48] [SPEAKER_01]: Right.
[00:48:48] [SPEAKER_01]: And other than that, you're just like sitting around.
[00:48:50] [SPEAKER_01]: One guy comes in and he's like, hey, my dog died.
[00:48:51] [SPEAKER_01]: Can you climb my dog?
[00:48:52] [SPEAKER_01]: And they're like, yeah, sure, and it takes five minutes.
[00:48:54] [SPEAKER_01]: And the guy walks out he pays forty dollars.
[00:48:56] [SPEAKER_01]: You know what I'm saying?
[00:48:56] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
[00:48:57] [SPEAKER_01]: That's the thing.
[00:48:58] [SPEAKER_01]: What is propelling this huge infrastructure?
[00:49:02] [SPEAKER_01]: We only see one building, but what we gather is that probably every building
[00:49:06] [SPEAKER_01]: is also another one.
[00:49:07] [SPEAKER_01]: They can build a galactic army.
[00:49:08] [SPEAKER_01]: When, why isn't this happening all the time?
[00:49:11] [SPEAKER_02]: All the time.
[00:49:11] [SPEAKER_02]: One Jedi was able to make this order.
[00:49:14] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
[00:49:15] [SPEAKER_02]: Like, so like someone had the money to do it.
[00:49:17] [SPEAKER_02]: One guy.
[00:49:18] [SPEAKER_02]: So why doesn't another guy just go in and you know what?
[00:49:20] [SPEAKER_02]: Make me an army too.
[00:49:21] [SPEAKER_02]: Here's another thing.
[00:49:23] [SPEAKER_01]: Like, you know, logic of this is like, it's beyond thin.
[00:49:25] [SPEAKER_01]: Not to attack their entire business model, but also poor location.
[00:49:29] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, right.
[00:49:30] [SPEAKER_01]: I think it's a beer.
[00:49:31] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
[00:49:32] [SPEAKER_01]: Pass the order in.
[00:49:33] [SPEAKER_01]: The only way you're going to find that is if you're a process.
[00:49:36] [SPEAKER_03]: You have a failing business.
[00:49:37] [SPEAKER_03]: You're going to have to set up outside of the university.
[00:49:40] [SPEAKER_02]: And I'm going to point out.
[00:49:41] [SPEAKER_02]: Okay.
[00:49:41] [SPEAKER_02]: So what was?
[00:49:43] [SPEAKER_02]: What was?
[00:49:44] [SPEAKER_02]: We don't even know.
[00:49:45] [SPEAKER_02]: Is this legal?
[00:49:45] [SPEAKER_02]: Is it not legal?
[00:49:46] [SPEAKER_02]: No, never explored.
[00:49:48] [SPEAKER_01]: But they're not even in the records.
[00:49:50] [SPEAKER_01]: No one even knows that this plan exists.
[00:49:51] [SPEAKER_01]: Other indexer jets are killing us because you as a prospector.
[00:49:54] [SPEAKER_01]: Prospecting for what?
[00:49:55] [SPEAKER_01]: For space gold is that why they're there?
[00:49:58] [SPEAKER_01]: Because the only people going to afford them are the people who just found gold
[00:50:01] [SPEAKER_01]: and a mine planet.
[00:50:03] [SPEAKER_02]: It doesn't make sense because it doesn't like, it doesn't make sense.
[00:50:06] [SPEAKER_02]: If this thing worked, then everyone would have armies all the time.
[00:50:09] [SPEAKER_00]: I have an army.
[00:50:11] [SPEAKER_00]: You'd have army?
[00:50:11] [SPEAKER_02]: There would be lots of them.
[00:50:12] [SPEAKER_00]: But they would give them three armies.
[00:50:14] [SPEAKER_02]: Whereas this is presented to us as a new unprecedented thing in the galaxy.
[00:50:20] [SPEAKER_02]: Like the whole Republic to have an army.
[00:50:22] [SPEAKER_02]: That's crazy.
[00:50:23] [SPEAKER_02]: But these facilities are too long.
[00:50:25] [SPEAKER_01]: I believe that they can make the army, but it's like why haven't they been doing it
[00:50:29] [SPEAKER_01]: for decades?
[00:50:30] [SPEAKER_01]: So they're explaining to us like we genetically modify them.
[00:50:33] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, they're super.
[00:50:33] [SPEAKER_01]: They're sedestable, right?
[00:50:35] [SPEAKER_01]: Right.
[00:50:35] [SPEAKER_01]: We can train them to do whatever we want.
[00:50:37] [SPEAKER_01]: They'll follow orders.
[00:50:38] [SPEAKER_02]: They grow like an accelerator rate.
[00:50:40] [SPEAKER_02]: We see babies, we see teenagers.
[00:50:41] [SPEAKER_02]: We walk into the hallway.
[00:50:42] [SPEAKER_01]: We see a bunch of little leg we see essentially like a fetus plant.
[00:50:45] [SPEAKER_01]: Like it looks from the matrix when they're harvesting all the babies for batteries.
[00:50:48] [SPEAKER_01]: But instead it's just like this is just where we store the fetuses.
[00:50:50] [SPEAKER_01]: And you take like five steps down.
[00:50:52] [SPEAKER_01]: It's a bunch of kids on a computer.
[00:50:53] [SPEAKER_01]: Right.
[00:50:53] [SPEAKER_01]: They're playing mayors beacon typing.
[00:50:55] [SPEAKER_01]: They're learning how to be people.
[00:50:57] [SPEAKER_01]: And then it go a couple of steps down.
[00:50:58] [SPEAKER_01]: We got like the 20 somethings in their eating and it looks like they're kind of
[00:51:01] [SPEAKER_01]: graph and whatever.
[00:51:02] [SPEAKER_02]: Playboy to Miramarce.
[00:51:04] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
[00:51:04] [SPEAKER_02]: He was a great Maori actor from New Zealand.
[00:51:09] [SPEAKER_02]: And he'd been in movies like once for warriors.
[00:51:13] [SPEAKER_02]: And what else?
[00:51:13] [SPEAKER_02]: And he's a great actor.
[00:51:15] [SPEAKER_01]: He gives an appropriate graphness to this role and he is genuinely menacing.
[00:51:20] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
[00:51:21] [SPEAKER_02]: He's in speed 2.
[00:51:22] [SPEAKER_02]: Who's control?
[00:51:23] [SPEAKER_02]: Who can forget?
[00:51:24] [SPEAKER_02]: He's in 6 days, 7 nights.
[00:51:25] [SPEAKER_02]: A couple's retreat.
[00:51:26] [SPEAKER_02]: A couple's retreat.
[00:51:26] [SPEAKER_02]: That was after the fact after.
[00:51:27] [SPEAKER_02]: There's a couple's retreat.
[00:51:28] [SPEAKER_02]: It was great.
[00:51:29] [SPEAKER_02]: But he is really great in once for warriors, which have you seen that film?
[00:51:33] [SPEAKER_02]: Yes.
[00:51:34] [SPEAKER_02]: You know, he's terrifying in that way.
[00:51:36] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
[00:51:36] [SPEAKER_02]: No, he's a really good actor.
[00:51:37] [SPEAKER_02]: He's a little incongruous in this again because of the accent.
[00:51:41] [SPEAKER_02]: You're like, I don't know, right?
[00:51:42] [SPEAKER_02]: But you know, he's good.
[00:51:43] [SPEAKER_02]: That's like him in this very brief.
[00:51:44] [SPEAKER_01]: Once again, the first star wars film The Phantom Mass was shot in England.
[00:51:48] [SPEAKER_01]: So you have a lot of British characters.
[00:51:50] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
[00:51:50] [SPEAKER_02]: Now we've got a lot of Australian Pacific County oceanic.
[00:51:54] [SPEAKER_01]: Because those are the people closest.
[00:51:58] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
[00:51:58] [SPEAKER_01]: He's got to grasp.
[00:51:59] [SPEAKER_01]: He'd down to fly them out.
[00:52:00] [SPEAKER_01]: But suddenly it's like, why is everyone we're meeting this week?
[00:52:02] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
[00:52:03] [SPEAKER_01]: That's the same accent.
[00:52:05] [SPEAKER_01]: Including sort of the alien diner owner.
[00:52:08] [SPEAKER_01]: Everyone other than that waitress in this movie.
[00:52:11] [SPEAKER_01]: Isn't that a drink club?
[00:52:13] [SPEAKER_01]: Every new character.
[00:52:14] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
[00:52:15] [SPEAKER_01]: Other than the waitress.
[00:52:16] [SPEAKER_01]: No, I get you.
[00:52:17] [SPEAKER_01]: Sounds like they're from Australia or New Zealand.
[00:52:19] [SPEAKER_02]: This is indisputable.
[00:52:20] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
[00:52:22] [SPEAKER_01]: And so we're seeing the ground and they go, where do you get these clonters?
[00:52:26] [SPEAKER_01]: Who is the original?
[00:52:27] [SPEAKER_01]: They go, you know, the man, the man we cloned him from.
[00:52:31] [SPEAKER_01]: He does it.
[00:52:32] [SPEAKER_01]: And he goes, wait, I'm sorry.
[00:52:33] [SPEAKER_01]: Back up, who did you cloned these people from?
[00:52:35] [SPEAKER_01]: Who is the origin?
[00:52:36] [SPEAKER_01]: You could pick anyone in the world.
[00:52:38] [SPEAKER_01]: So go, who's the best fighter?
[00:52:40] [SPEAKER_01]: Who's the greatest soldier of all time?
[00:52:41] [SPEAKER_02]: And also, like, do you have to just have one guy?
[00:52:44] [SPEAKER_02]: You can't have like kind of a multitude.
[00:52:46] [SPEAKER_02]: Is the idea that it has to be just one guy over and over again?
[00:52:49] [SPEAKER_01]: I don't think so wouldn't be so much easier just be like if you can modify the
[00:52:53] [SPEAKER_01]: Genx that much.
[00:52:54] [SPEAKER_01]: Maybe it's like at this point on autopilot.
[00:52:55] [SPEAKER_01]: Like, it's the presets and I just like keep on churning out.
[00:52:59] [SPEAKER_01]: We got the 1DNA sample.
[00:53:00] [SPEAKER_01]: We're going to keep on churning out that.
[00:53:01] [SPEAKER_01]: Because who's this guy?
[00:53:02] [SPEAKER_01]: And they go, oh, right.
[00:53:04] [SPEAKER_01]: It's some bounty hunter.
[00:53:07] [SPEAKER_01]: It's some, some low level, like.
[00:53:09] [SPEAKER_02]: So crazy.
[00:53:10] [SPEAKER_02]: So he's bad.
[00:53:11] [SPEAKER_02]: But a psychodeous insistent isn't that the idea?
[00:53:14] [SPEAKER_02]: Isn't it said like, like, Syphideous was like, Django Fett.
[00:53:17] [SPEAKER_02]: That's your guy.
[00:53:17] [SPEAKER_00]: Okay, wait, which why?
[00:53:18] [SPEAKER_01]: I know what you do.
[00:53:19] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, it says, well, they say psychodeous, you know, brought him to it.
[00:53:23] [SPEAKER_01]: Said, this is the guy.
[00:53:24] [SPEAKER_01]: And they say, you know, in addition to be compensating being compensated very well.
[00:53:31] [SPEAKER_01]: Right.
[00:53:34] [SPEAKER_01]: He had only one other demand.
[00:53:37] [SPEAKER_01]: He wants one clone for himself, but unaltered.
[00:53:41] [SPEAKER_01]: No adjustments made that he can raise.
[00:53:43] [SPEAKER_01]: He wants to raise himself as a boy.
[00:53:45] [SPEAKER_02]: I kind of like that idea.
[00:53:46] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, if it was explored.
[00:53:48] [SPEAKER_02]: Right.
[00:53:48] [SPEAKER_01]: Which is not word explored.
[00:53:50] [SPEAKER_01]: It would be cool.
[00:53:51] [SPEAKER_02]: But right.
[00:53:51] [SPEAKER_02]: Like the idea must be like, here's someone who obviously can't enter a romantic partnership.
[00:53:56] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
[00:53:56] [SPEAKER_02]: It doesn't know why to have a kid because they're stupid.
[00:53:58] [SPEAKER_02]: But like, what if he just had himself?
[00:54:00] [SPEAKER_01]: This is kind of maybe the yattle of the movie.
[00:54:03] [SPEAKER_01]: I'm not saying that character is the yattle, but I'm saying this, this song whose name is Boba Fett.
[00:54:10] [SPEAKER_01]: Boba.
[00:54:10] [SPEAKER_01]: Boba.
[00:54:11] [SPEAKER_02]: He also has a little New Zealand accent.
[00:54:14] [SPEAKER_02]: Who plays him?
[00:54:15] [SPEAKER_02]: Go on.
[00:54:16] [SPEAKER_01]: He, that's kind of like, it's present.
[00:54:20] [SPEAKER_01]: You're like, oh, that's maybe a movie I would watch as a guy raising a clone himself.
[00:54:24] [SPEAKER_01]: Right.
[00:54:24] [SPEAKER_01]: This weird planet because they, they break, he lives there.
[00:54:27] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
[00:54:27] [SPEAKER_01]: They go, can I meet this guy?
[00:54:28] [SPEAKER_01]: Oh, yeah, sure he's got a room here.
[00:54:32] [SPEAKER_01]: So they're like walking past all these clones that look like him and they bring him in.
[00:54:35] [SPEAKER_01]: And so this is a backwards.
[00:54:37] [SPEAKER_01]: And he, the students now being paid so well.
[00:54:39] [SPEAKER_01]: He's got a tiny room.
[00:54:41] [SPEAKER_01]: You're really small.
[00:54:42] [SPEAKER_01]: And he still sort of just like, they go like, hey, where he been?
[00:54:45] [SPEAKER_01]: He's like, ah, around.
[00:54:46] [SPEAKER_01]: It's like, what you're still a bounty hunter?
[00:54:48] [SPEAKER_01]: Like you've been paid so well.
[00:54:50] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, why are you still a bad guy?
[00:54:51] [SPEAKER_01]: Get out of the game.
[00:54:52] [SPEAKER_01]: Midnight Run is all about a guy who doesn't want to be a bounty hunter anymore.
[00:54:55] [SPEAKER_02]: And we know, by the way, at this point that this is the guy who killed Sam Wessel.
[00:55:00] [SPEAKER_01]: And we know that's very quickly.
[00:55:02] [SPEAKER_02]: I'm pretty sure we get it.
[00:55:03] [SPEAKER_02]: We see him. He's a human being because we've heard his voice talking to Sam.
[00:55:07] [SPEAKER_01]: I mean, it's, you know, the moment that connects the dots is we see him.
[00:55:11] [SPEAKER_01]: He's in just sort of like his classic fatigues and Obi-Wan starts asking him questions.
[00:55:16] [SPEAKER_01]: And he whispered something to his son, boob effect in like a,
[00:55:21] [SPEAKER_01]: some alien at language.
[00:55:23] [SPEAKER_01]: Boob effect, doodlefully. Boob effect.
[00:55:26] [SPEAKER_01]: Is boob?
[00:55:27] [SPEAKER_01]: Okay.
[00:55:28] [SPEAKER_01]: It's a new character.
[00:55:29] [SPEAKER_01]: I'm not familiar with him.
[00:55:31] [SPEAKER_01]: He doodifully runs on the hallway and hits a button, closing a closet.
[00:55:36] [SPEAKER_01]: And we see that the thing on the other end of the closet door that has been closed is the armor.
[00:55:41] Right.
[00:55:42] [SPEAKER_01]: The armor.
[00:55:43] [SPEAKER_02]: That's a silver and blue.
[00:55:44] [SPEAKER_02]: So then we're like, okay.
[00:55:46] [SPEAKER_02]: And then again in this more fashion, but without any of the actual grist,
[00:55:51] [SPEAKER_02]: like Obi-Wan and Django have this kind of like in you window filled conversation where it's like you've ever been to chorus.
[00:55:58] [SPEAKER_02]: There he's like, maybe a couple of times recently.
[00:56:00] [SPEAKER_01]: Fairly.
[00:56:02] [SPEAKER_01]: How was it?
[00:56:03] [SPEAKER_01]: Oh, he goes wet.
[00:56:04] [SPEAKER_01]: There for some business and goes with success.
[00:56:06] [SPEAKER_01]: Won't he go with fairly fairly success?
[00:56:09] [SPEAKER_02]: And by the way, no it wasn't.
[00:56:11] [SPEAKER_01]: No, it was horrible.
[00:56:13] [SPEAKER_01]: It was a piece of art.
[00:56:13] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
[00:56:14] [SPEAKER_01]: He blew it.
[00:56:14] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, he did terrible job.
[00:56:16] [SPEAKER_01]: Maybe retire.
[00:56:17] [SPEAKER_01]: I mean, it's a harp on midnight run,
[00:56:19] [SPEAKER_01]: which I think is just like a platonic ideal.
[00:56:22] [SPEAKER_01]: It's like a perfect test.
[00:56:23] [SPEAKER_01]: But the crux of that film is,
[00:56:26] [SPEAKER_01]: oh man, being a bounty hunter sucks.
[00:56:28] [SPEAKER_01]: It's a terrible job.
[00:56:29] [SPEAKER_01]: We all understand this is a terrible job.
[00:56:31] [SPEAKER_01]: All denier I want to do is get that one big job
[00:56:34] [SPEAKER_01]: that one big payout that allows him
[00:56:36] [SPEAKER_01]: to start a restaurant.
[00:56:37] [SPEAKER_01]: That's always always dream.
[00:56:38] [SPEAKER_01]: He wants to be dexter-tester to speak in terms
[00:56:41] [SPEAKER_01]: that attack of the cloneers will understand.
[00:56:43] [SPEAKER_01]: Right.
[00:56:44] [SPEAKER_01]: Our attack heads.
[00:56:46] [SPEAKER_01]: Our cloneers.
[00:56:48] [SPEAKER_01]: Um, he is a Django fat who wishes
[00:56:51] [SPEAKER_01]: he could become a dexter-tester
[00:56:53] [SPEAKER_01]: and the second he gets that payout,
[00:56:55] [SPEAKER_01]: it's like that's what he's gonna do.
[00:56:57] [SPEAKER_01]: He's gonna get out of the game.
[00:56:58] [SPEAKER_01]: Right.
[00:56:58] [SPEAKER_01]: Django fat has hit payder.
[00:57:01] [SPEAKER_02]: But he's not giving up the old life.
[00:57:03] [SPEAKER_01]: No.
[00:57:05] [SPEAKER_01]: But why?
[00:57:05] [SPEAKER_01]: And he's got to hate it.
[00:57:06] [SPEAKER_01]: He should be roomy.
[00:57:06] [SPEAKER_01]: We didn't get a nice apartment.
[00:57:08] [SPEAKER_01]: We don't know anything about this character.
[00:57:09] [SPEAKER_01]: It's never explored.
[00:57:11] [SPEAKER_01]: This guy kind of seems like a piece of shit.
[00:57:12] [SPEAKER_01]: And I don't understand why they clone him.
[00:57:14] [SPEAKER_01]: And he's like physically fit.
[00:57:16] [SPEAKER_01]: Right.
[00:57:16] [SPEAKER_01]: But also not the best human specimen in the world.
[00:57:19] [SPEAKER_02]: I mean, that's how he's being presented to us though.
[00:57:22] [SPEAKER_02]: I think that's the idea.
[00:57:23] [SPEAKER_02]: It's like, here's Django fat.
[00:57:24] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
[00:57:25] [SPEAKER_02]: He knows what he's doing, he'll work.
[00:57:27] [SPEAKER_01]: But even like, they talk about how like,
[00:57:29] [SPEAKER_01]: a Mace Windu is really powerful.
[00:57:31] [SPEAKER_01]: In this movie it's kind of set up.
[00:57:32] [SPEAKER_01]: That's why that's Mace Windu's place
[00:57:34] [SPEAKER_01]: within the Jedi hierarchy
[00:57:36] [SPEAKER_01]: is that he's the most powerful for Swi.
[00:57:38] [SPEAKER_01]: Say say that a couple times.
[00:57:40] [SPEAKER_01]: Say like, yo does the Y is this Mace Windu
[00:57:41] [SPEAKER_01]: is the most powerful.
[00:57:43] [SPEAKER_01]: Right, he's like the best fighter.
[00:57:45] [SPEAKER_01]: So if the Jedi's were actually the ones who asked for this army,
[00:57:49] [SPEAKER_01]: they'd be like, oh, just get me as Windu.
[00:57:51] [SPEAKER_02]: That would be pretty cool.
[00:57:51] [SPEAKER_01]: Let's have a bunch of army of Samuel Jackson's.
[00:57:54] [SPEAKER_01]: Right.
[00:57:54] [SPEAKER_01]: And they all have the force.
[00:57:55] [SPEAKER_01]: That sounds great.
[00:57:56] [SPEAKER_02]: But you're forgetting.
[00:57:57] [SPEAKER_02]: Oh, I'm not sure.
[00:57:58] [SPEAKER_01]: He's done in secret.
[00:57:59] [SPEAKER_01]: And that's why I said if.
[00:58:01] [SPEAKER_01]: If.
[00:58:01] [SPEAKER_01]: So they're like, in, say, what?
[00:58:02] [SPEAKER_01]: Yes, 10 years ago, Jedi Mace is this tense conversation.
[00:58:06] [SPEAKER_01]: But Django, he meets Boba and he goes back to the Jedi council.
[00:58:10] [SPEAKER_01]: And they're like, we got no idea what the fuck he's talking about.
[00:58:13] [SPEAKER_01]: Right.
[00:58:13] [SPEAKER_01]: And they're like, is there any chance, psychodeus did this 10 years ago?
[00:58:16] [SPEAKER_01]: And they're like, no.
[00:58:18] [SPEAKER_01]: Because always talking them through like hologram.
[00:58:20] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
[00:58:21] [SPEAKER_01]: He's throwing the poison in.
[00:58:23] [SPEAKER_01]: It's like a cold shiver.
[00:58:24] [SPEAKER_01]: And it's like just go back indoors.
[00:58:26] [SPEAKER_01]: Like, does it get the ton of space there?
[00:58:28] [SPEAKER_01]: Find a bathroom.
[00:58:29] [SPEAKER_01]: I don't know.
[00:58:30] [SPEAKER_01]: Do anything.
[00:58:32] [SPEAKER_01]: But he says he's like, any chance.
[00:58:36] [SPEAKER_01]: And they're like, no, the time on your present,
[00:58:37] [SPEAKER_01]: I think psychodios died right before that.
[00:58:40] [SPEAKER_01]: Right.
[00:58:40] [SPEAKER_01]: Oh, oh.
[00:58:41] [SPEAKER_01]: And he says to Django, he's like, so what's the deal?
[00:58:44] [SPEAKER_01]: Psychodios.
[00:58:45] [SPEAKER_01]: And Django is like, uh, psychos.
[00:58:46] [SPEAKER_01]: Who is?
[00:58:47] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, he's like a guy called Tyrannus.
[00:58:49] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
[00:58:49] [SPEAKER_02]: That's who sent me up with this.
[00:58:50] [SPEAKER_01]: And he, he's on like the moon's a boogin or something.
[00:58:53] [SPEAKER_01]: And he says some silly nonsense.
[00:58:54] [SPEAKER_01]: A garbage.
[00:58:56] [SPEAKER_01]: Right.
[00:58:56] [SPEAKER_01]: He goes, man, I'm tired of this.
[00:58:57] [SPEAKER_01]: The moon's a boogin.
[00:58:58] [SPEAKER_01]: He's like, what?
[00:58:59] [SPEAKER_01]: So he goes to that and he's like, Tyrannus.
[00:59:03] [SPEAKER_01]: It's a suffatius.
[00:59:03] [SPEAKER_01]: Any of this that make a sense to you.
[00:59:04] [SPEAKER_01]: And they're like, absolutely not.
[00:59:06] [SPEAKER_01]: And instead of digging further into the mystery, yeah,
[00:59:09] [SPEAKER_01]: what he fights Django fat.
[00:59:10] [SPEAKER_01]: Right.
[00:59:11] [SPEAKER_01]: He's like, why do I leave the planet?
[00:59:12] [SPEAKER_01]: And then Django fat comes out in his armor now.
[00:59:14] [SPEAKER_01]: It's our shoot at him comes out.
[00:59:15] [SPEAKER_02]: Kind of a cool scene, I guess.
[00:59:17] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
[00:59:17] [SPEAKER_02]: It's never really seen that.
[00:59:18] [SPEAKER_02]: Like, Jedi versus non-jeti, like,
[00:59:21] [SPEAKER_02]: and it's like who's not like just a stupid, cloned, uh, battle trooper.
[00:59:25] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, it is.
[00:59:26] [SPEAKER_01]: Uh, so, um, bogged down by shitty CGI range.
[00:59:30] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, it's really terrible.
[00:59:32] [SPEAKER_01]: Like, it's clear that the only thing that's real is the cool.
[00:59:34] [SPEAKER_01]: I do.
[00:59:35] [SPEAKER_01]: I do.
[00:59:35] [SPEAKER_01]: And then the entire background, the planet seems like the rain is CGI.
[00:59:40] [SPEAKER_01]: They're red.
[00:59:41] [SPEAKER_01]: It all like, it doesn't have a lot of weight to it.
[00:59:44] [SPEAKER_01]: But the actual fight itself, I guess, is well,
[00:59:46] [SPEAKER_01]: where it gets pretty good.
[00:59:47] [SPEAKER_01]: Django's cool.
[00:59:48] [SPEAKER_01]: He's got a round.
[00:59:48] [SPEAKER_01]: Django's pretty good.
[00:59:50] [SPEAKER_02]: And he's got these like kind of wild west ray guns, you know?
[00:59:54] [SPEAKER_02]: That he like kind of, he's got two blasters side holes.
[00:59:57] [SPEAKER_01]: There's a flip-saw off the looker.
[00:59:58] [SPEAKER_01]: He'll tie it.
[01:00:00] [SPEAKER_01]: Tights my word of the day.
[01:00:02] [SPEAKER_01]: Um, but then like, no, we can't even fucking remember what happens.
[01:00:04] [SPEAKER_02]: After that, I feel like after that, he, he picks up the thread
[01:00:09] [SPEAKER_02]: and goes to that other.
[01:00:10] [SPEAKER_02]: Most of far.
[01:00:11] [SPEAKER_02]: No, is it most of far?
[01:00:12] [SPEAKER_02]: No, what's the look on my phone?
[01:00:14] [SPEAKER_02]: What's the, what's the desert?
[01:00:15] [SPEAKER_02]: Well, Ginoces?
[01:00:17] [SPEAKER_02]: Is that what it's called?
[01:00:18] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
[01:00:18] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, Ginoces.
[01:00:21] [SPEAKER_02]: Um, but I can't even remember like how he, uh, after this attack
[01:00:26] [SPEAKER_02]: from by Django Fett.
[01:00:27] [SPEAKER_02]: Okay.
[01:00:28] [SPEAKER_02]: I guess he gets in his ship and flies away.
[01:00:31] [SPEAKER_01]: He gets in ship and goes into the jungle.
[01:00:34] [SPEAKER_02]: Oh, right.
[01:00:35] [SPEAKER_02]: Oh, Sam, my cool space battle.
[01:00:37] [SPEAKER_02]: He's got a really cool ship.
[01:00:39] [SPEAKER_01]: Uh, Django?
[01:00:40] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
[01:00:41] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, his ship.
[01:00:41] [SPEAKER_01]: And bulbous roughly.
[01:00:42] [SPEAKER_01]: He's like, bulb would get it ready and bulb was like, getting the ship ready.
[01:00:46] [SPEAKER_02]: And then they have this space battle where like, they're shooting these, uh, these,
[01:00:51] [SPEAKER_02]: uh, bombs that kind of like make no sound.
[01:00:53] [SPEAKER_03]: And then they go, oh, yeah.
[01:00:55] [SPEAKER_02]: Like, he sort of sonic bombs.
[01:00:56] [SPEAKER_01]: It's sort of like using a minefield.
[01:00:58] [SPEAKER_01]: And we have to get pretty cool.
[01:00:59] [SPEAKER_01]: And, and, and, oh, we want just barely slips away.
[01:01:01] [SPEAKER_02]: The big problem is, again, it's all just CGI.
[01:01:04] [SPEAKER_02]: So it sort of, it's a little lacking.
[01:01:06] [SPEAKER_02]: But Ben Bert really carries it over the line because this bomb's so cool.
[01:01:10] [SPEAKER_01]: Uh, Ben Bert, uh, voice of Wally.
[01:01:12] [SPEAKER_01]: That's true.
[01:01:13] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
[01:01:14] [SPEAKER_01]: I did the sound for Wally too, but he's, he's a fucking G.
[01:01:16] [SPEAKER_01]: He's tight.
[01:01:17] [SPEAKER_01]: He's the best.
[01:01:18] [SPEAKER_01]: He's my tight.
[01:01:18] [SPEAKER_01]: He's got tight pussy.
[01:01:20] [SPEAKER_01]: Um, those are my two words today.
[01:01:21] [SPEAKER_01]: And shake him.
[01:01:22] [SPEAKER_01]: It's tight.
[01:01:23] [SPEAKER_01]: Uh, anyway.
[01:01:25] [SPEAKER_02]: And then, and then, I guess I'll be on ghost to genosis and like get the capture.
[01:01:30] [SPEAKER_01]: Right, right.
[01:01:31] [SPEAKER_01]: Because he's trying to waste.
[01:01:32] [SPEAKER_01]: This is what I'm saying.
[01:01:33] [SPEAKER_02]: Like, there's this mystery thread.
[01:01:34] [SPEAKER_02]: That's not that's the only reason I'm following this like,
[01:01:36] [SPEAKER_02]: there's a mystery thread.
[01:01:37] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
[01:01:37] [SPEAKER_02]: Everyone kind of covers the clone army.
[01:01:39] [SPEAKER_02]: It's so easy to follow for a little while.
[01:01:41] [SPEAKER_01]: You're getting a piece of information after piece of information.
[01:01:44] [SPEAKER_01]: He asked a question.
[01:01:44] [SPEAKER_01]: He gets an answer that's go ask this person.
[01:01:47] [SPEAKER_01]: And then that whole thing is thrown away.
[01:01:48] [SPEAKER_02]: And then it's, yeah, well, then it's just time for the final act.
[01:01:52] [SPEAKER_02]: So everyone just needs to be, I guess, in prison on the desert.
[01:01:56] [SPEAKER_02]: On it.
[01:01:57] [SPEAKER_02]: It's on it.
[01:01:57] [SPEAKER_02]: Does it point?
[01:01:57] [SPEAKER_02]: What is it?
[01:01:58] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, it's a rocky desert plan.
[01:02:00] [SPEAKER_02]: I don't know.
[01:02:01] [SPEAKER_02]: It's like another.
[01:02:02] [SPEAKER_02]: It's a bug plan.
[01:02:03] [SPEAKER_02]: It's like bug.
[01:02:04] [SPEAKER_02]: It's like bug.
[01:02:04] [SPEAKER_01]: Rule my bugs.
[01:02:06] [SPEAKER_01]: We'll get to them.
[01:02:07] [SPEAKER_01]: That's that's a whole other episode.
[01:02:09] [SPEAKER_01]: But just that episode will just be titled all that shit that happens
[01:02:11] [SPEAKER_01]: on Genesis.
[01:02:12] [SPEAKER_01]: Because a lot of wacky shit happens on Genesis.
[01:02:15] [SPEAKER_01]: Oh boy.
[01:02:16] [SPEAKER_01]: Um, but yeah, it's supposed to be easy to follow.
[01:02:19] [SPEAKER_01]: And when he comes to the Jedi Council with like the biggest questions.
[01:02:23] [SPEAKER_01]: Yet they're like, wow, we don't know what to tell you.
[01:02:26] [SPEAKER_01]: It sounds crazy.
[01:02:27] [SPEAKER_01]: We definitely didn't.
[01:02:28] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, they're like, this is not a clone army.
[01:02:31] [SPEAKER_01]: And we paid for it.
[01:02:34] [SPEAKER_01]: That well none of us approve that.
[01:02:35] [SPEAKER_01]: So yeah.
[01:02:37] [SPEAKER_01]: And then they're like tyrants and they're like, yeah, don't know.
[01:02:40] [SPEAKER_01]: He is.
[01:02:41] [SPEAKER_01]: And then I mean, just come back home and got to do your laundry.
[01:02:43] [SPEAKER_02]: And we'll get into this more later.
[01:02:45] [SPEAKER_02]: But then this just sets up at the end of the movie where it's kind of like,
[01:02:49] [SPEAKER_02]: they approve an army.
[01:02:50] [SPEAKER_02]: And then it's like, well, it's right over here.
[01:02:53] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
[01:02:53] [SPEAKER_02]: And everyone, no one apparently asked the question, like,
[01:02:56] [SPEAKER_02]: excuse me, who are these people?
[01:02:59] [SPEAKER_02]: And where did they come from?
[01:03:00] [SPEAKER_02]: And what is this?
[01:03:01] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
[01:03:01] [SPEAKER_01]: And if you take off their helmet, they all have the exact same face.
[01:03:07] [SPEAKER_02]: And they all like ship off into these giant ships that I guess already existing.
[01:03:11] [SPEAKER_02]: And like it's like, I mean, I understand that Palptine's supposed to be sort of like
[01:03:16] [SPEAKER_02]: pulling one over on the galaxy.
[01:03:18] [SPEAKER_02]: But like, it was no one picking up like the receipts and being like, we're in all of this
[01:03:22] [SPEAKER_02]: should come from.
[01:03:24] [SPEAKER_02]: Well, this is the craziest thing to me.
[01:03:25] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
[01:03:26] [SPEAKER_01]: Where did these people come from?
[01:03:28] [SPEAKER_01]: I'm a photo DSP upfront quote unquote.
[01:03:31] [SPEAKER_01]: Psycho D.
[01:03:31] [SPEAKER_02]: He must have the communo and he's like,
[01:03:34] [SPEAKER_02]: when you realize like excuse you were 50%
[01:03:37] [SPEAKER_02]: your deposit, but we're going to need the other 50%.
[01:03:41] [SPEAKER_02]: Who the fuck is psychodymyr?
[01:03:43] [SPEAKER_01]: Who was this guy?
[01:03:45] [SPEAKER_01]: I mean, that's the thing.
[01:03:46] [SPEAKER_01]: What a dumb name.
[01:03:47] [SPEAKER_01]: Like the movie is presenting questions.
[01:03:49] [SPEAKER_01]: And we're getting invested in trying to find out the answers.
[01:03:51] [SPEAKER_01]: And then they are not like, right?
[01:03:52] [SPEAKER_01]: So it's like, was psychodyous and alias that a bad guy was using?
[01:03:56] [SPEAKER_01]: We know he was a real guy, but was someone pretending to be him or was psychody.
[01:04:00] [SPEAKER_01]: Okay, psychodyous, let's read about this.
[01:04:02] [SPEAKER_01]: Mail, he mentioned I master.
[01:04:04] [SPEAKER_02]: Last decade to the Republic.
[01:04:06] [SPEAKER_02]: Okay.
[01:04:07] [SPEAKER_02]: So he's old guard kind of guy secretly.
[01:04:09] [SPEAKER_02]: He apparently he did it.
[01:04:11] [SPEAKER_02]: Like this is Wikipedia, those things.
[01:04:12] [SPEAKER_01]: They're saying he did it.
[01:04:13] [SPEAKER_01]: So what's he kind of incohoots with the Sith was he just like a real like military
[01:04:17] [SPEAKER_01]: efficient auto was like, you know,
[01:04:20] [SPEAKER_02]: I'm just going to buy an arm was he was convinced to do it by Duku.
[01:04:26] [SPEAKER_02]: And it seemed like, and we'll get to Duku later obviously.
[01:04:29] [SPEAKER_01]: But it's actually like he was me.
[01:04:31] [SPEAKER_01]: A young Jedi getting swayed by the the a lore.
[01:04:34] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, older Jedi saying like, hey, things are bad.
[01:04:38] [SPEAKER_01]: Like we might need an army that Jedi are getting weak.
[01:04:42] [SPEAKER_01]: He's like, you know what your right.
[01:04:43] [SPEAKER_01]: I should do this.
[01:04:44] [SPEAKER_01]: It doesn't really do could gave in the money.
[01:04:46] [SPEAKER_01]: I mean, it doesn't seem like Jedi is independently wealth.
[01:04:48] [SPEAKER_02]: Oh, he, uh, what's his name?
[01:04:49] [SPEAKER_02]: This is all in the expanded universe.
[01:04:51] [SPEAKER_02]: Right.
[01:04:51] [SPEAKER_02]: The way again, this is never discussed in the films.
[01:04:56] [SPEAKER_02]: Hago Damasque aka Darth Plagueis.
[01:04:59] [SPEAKER_02]: Okay.
[01:04:59] [SPEAKER_02]: Who is Darth Sidney is just like, former master.
[01:05:03] [SPEAKER_02]: Uh, he provides the funds.
[01:05:06] [SPEAKER_02]: So, but he knows I know that he's a Sith.
[01:05:09] [SPEAKER_01]: I guess.
[01:05:10] [SPEAKER_01]: Does he come from like a wealthy fan?
[01:05:11] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, he's like a business man.
[01:05:12] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
[01:05:13] [SPEAKER_01]: He even had a good app.
[01:05:14] [SPEAKER_01]: Like what did he do?
[01:05:15] [SPEAKER_02]: He, he, he, he, he, he, he's a businessman.
[01:05:18] [SPEAKER_02]: He has a company called the Damasque holding.
[01:05:21] [SPEAKER_01]: I cannot calculate how much.
[01:05:23] [SPEAKER_01]: Again, none of this is in the movie.
[01:05:25] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, but here's like, I look, I don't need them to get me all of this,
[01:05:28] [SPEAKER_01]: but I also little more.
[01:05:30] [SPEAKER_01]: Well, I need to get some impression of who
[01:05:33] [SPEAKER_01]: a Sith ODS was as a guy.
[01:05:34] [SPEAKER_02]: Maybe Duke who could later say like, ah,
[01:05:36] [SPEAKER_02]: Siphodeus was just upon like I manipulated him, like, you know,
[01:05:40] [SPEAKER_02]: into buying that army.
[01:05:41] [SPEAKER_01]: Or even like he was killed ten years earlier.
[01:05:43] [SPEAKER_01]: You know, Jedi is don't seem to get killed that often.
[01:05:46] [SPEAKER_01]: I guess not.
[01:05:47] [SPEAKER_01]: They're pretty peaceful.
[01:05:48] [SPEAKER_01]: I mean, we saw a call again, die, but it's like extreme circumstances.
[01:05:53] [SPEAKER_01]: I would love it if they were like, yes, I thought the S got killed.
[01:05:56] [SPEAKER_01]: Weird circumstances.
[01:05:57] [SPEAKER_01]: Also he was acting really weird the last couple months of his life.
[01:06:01] [SPEAKER_01]: Like, not, you know, even though it was that ham-fisted,
[01:06:03] [SPEAKER_01]: if it was just kind of like setting up like,
[01:06:05] [SPEAKER_01]: oh, that guy was, so weird was going on there.
[01:06:08] [SPEAKER_01]: Also aren't they mind reading Jedi's?
[01:06:09] [SPEAKER_02]: This is what I always circle back to.
[01:06:11] [SPEAKER_02]: I get that Jedi's, maybe, might be hard at reading another Jedi, right?
[01:06:14] [SPEAKER_02]: Cause they also have, yeah.
[01:06:16] [SPEAKER_01]: So like, that's the thing.
[01:06:17] [SPEAKER_01]: When everyone's doing that like fucking,
[01:06:19] [SPEAKER_01]: like, detective conversation, like playing Koi with Django,
[01:06:23] [SPEAKER_01]: he also could just be asking like, hey,
[01:06:26] [SPEAKER_01]: some weather we got here, huh?
[01:06:27] [SPEAKER_01]: And then just reading his mind.
[01:06:29] [SPEAKER_01]: That's a good point.
[01:06:30] [SPEAKER_01]: You know what we forgot about that.
[01:06:31] [SPEAKER_01]: You could just go like, so you see any good players or something?
[01:06:33] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, and then just me, I'll be gone.
[01:06:34] [SPEAKER_01]: This guy is Django fat.
[01:06:35] [SPEAKER_01]: This guy is the assassin.
[01:06:37] [SPEAKER_01]: This is Django fat.
[01:06:38] [SPEAKER_02]: Why don't they read Seconds and Westels my with their like,
[01:06:40] [SPEAKER_02]: who said you?
[01:06:41] [SPEAKER_02]: But she's like, I can't tell you they're like, well, too.
[01:06:43] [SPEAKER_02]: Like we just, now you're not carrying him anywhere.
[01:06:46] [SPEAKER_01]: Uh, to get too scared off by your lizard face.
[01:06:49] [SPEAKER_01]: This movie's insane.
[01:06:50] [SPEAKER_01]: It's really insane.
[01:06:51] [SPEAKER_01]: This is insane.
[01:06:52] [SPEAKER_02]: This is the most insane plot concept in the film.
[01:06:56] [SPEAKER_02]: There are probably more insane things that happened.
[01:06:58] [SPEAKER_02]: But the idea that there's just a planet that makes clones and like,
[01:07:02] [SPEAKER_02]: did it in secret and provide you.
[01:07:03] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, that is the craziest thing.
[01:07:05] [SPEAKER_02]: That is the biggest leap of logic the film makes.
[01:07:07] [SPEAKER_02]: And I would say if like the, it's a mile wide, the leap you have to make.
[01:07:11] [SPEAKER_02]: It makes it like 10 feet across and then just falls into the abyss.
[01:07:14] [SPEAKER_01]: That's being very generous.
[01:07:15] [SPEAKER_01]: Exactly.
[01:07:16] [SPEAKER_01]: And this is the interesting middle section of the movie.
[01:07:18] [SPEAKER_01]: We're going back and forth between two tonally very different films.
[01:07:21] [SPEAKER_01]: One of which is this clone mystery, uh, detective thriller, right.
[01:07:27] [SPEAKER_01]: That then just dissolves into space battles.
[01:07:29] [SPEAKER_01]: Boy, then the other is the romance.
[01:07:32] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, the romance.
[01:07:35] [SPEAKER_01]: And then at the end of the movie,
[01:07:37] [SPEAKER_01]: the last third they just go like,
[01:07:38] [SPEAKER_01]: and don't care about either of those.
[01:07:40] [SPEAKER_01]: We're just going to some crazy space.
[01:07:41] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, they're just like, a gladiator battle with monsters and Jedi War
[01:07:45] [SPEAKER_02]: and clone fighting and lightsaber fight.
[01:07:48] [SPEAKER_02]: Like, you know, they fucking see three people.
[01:07:49] [SPEAKER_01]: It's good to do a hero Lloyd routine and watching you choose my dear.
[01:07:52] [SPEAKER_01]: We'll get all of this later.
[01:07:53] [SPEAKER_01]: But it is fascinating.
[01:07:54] [SPEAKER_01]: They set up these two.
[01:07:55] [SPEAKER_01]: We've got about that.
[01:07:55] [SPEAKER_01]: They set up these two like really kind of cool here genre exercises
[01:07:59] [SPEAKER_01]: and like, oh, we're putting different kind of genres into the fan amenous universe.
[01:08:05] [SPEAKER_01]: And then they just go like never mind.
[01:08:06] [SPEAKER_01]: It's the same fan amenous bolt.
[01:08:07] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
[01:08:08] [SPEAKER_01]: We're going to do that stuff.
[01:08:09] [SPEAKER_01]: Remember that crazy stuff that didn't make any sense?
[01:08:11] [SPEAKER_01]: We're going to do a bunch of that again.
[01:08:12] [SPEAKER_02]: How much time have we spent been?
[01:08:15] [SPEAKER_02]: What's up with the time now?
[01:08:16] [SPEAKER_02]: Over an hour.
[01:08:18] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
[01:08:18] [SPEAKER_02]: I feel like it's, I feel I think we've done well today.
[01:08:20] [SPEAKER_01]: Okay, so Lil merch and nice ballroom.
[01:08:22] [SPEAKER_01]: Oh, excited.
[01:08:22] [SPEAKER_01]: Really.
[01:08:23] [SPEAKER_01]: So there was a minor one with the jacosta now,
[01:08:27] [SPEAKER_01]: but not really worth talking about.
[01:08:28] [SPEAKER_01]: It's not going to be how these figures they really tried to add.
[01:08:30] [SPEAKER_01]: They're just doing the communal or Django or the...
[01:08:34] [SPEAKER_01]: I'm doing, I will tell you in just a second.
[01:08:37] [SPEAKER_01]: All right.
[01:08:37] [SPEAKER_01]: I'm trying to link the things to thematically what we talked about in that episode.
[01:08:42] [SPEAKER_01]: So, you know, there wasn't as much in terms of general merchandise,
[01:08:46] [SPEAKER_01]: but they did in classic fan amenous fashion making action
[01:08:49] [SPEAKER_01]: for your literally every character.
[01:08:51] [SPEAKER_01]: So we do have the waitress here.
[01:08:53] [SPEAKER_01]: I mean, she exists.
[01:08:54] [SPEAKER_01]: Wow, she's got two drinks.
[01:08:55] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, she comes with the wheel.
[01:08:57] [SPEAKER_01]: Because otherwise, she wouldn't be able to balance.
[01:08:58] [SPEAKER_01]: So it just looks like the floor.
[01:09:00] [SPEAKER_01]: It doesn't speak unfortunately.
[01:09:01] [SPEAKER_01]: I would love like a deluxe talk about that.
[01:09:03] [SPEAKER_02]: Was there a commentek for episode two?
[01:09:05] [SPEAKER_02]: No, no, no.
[01:09:06] [SPEAKER_02]: It's not a comment.
[01:09:06] [SPEAKER_01]: Just gone.
[01:09:07] [SPEAKER_01]: Scrapped.
[01:09:08] [SPEAKER_01]: There was originally going to be like,
[01:09:09] [SPEAKER_01]: contact was going to be improved and then was going to be improved.
[01:09:12] [SPEAKER_01]: Maybe they could make it a little smaller.
[01:09:14] [SPEAKER_01]: That was a, they were going to make them smaller.
[01:09:16] [SPEAKER_01]: I found a whole, there's a website to vote just to commentek technology.
[01:09:19] [SPEAKER_02]: I believe it.
[01:09:20] [SPEAKER_01]: And, but like the great lost art of the contact.
[01:09:25] [SPEAKER_01]: Replaced by everything else.
[01:09:27] [SPEAKER_01]: But rather than have the contact reader,
[01:09:29] [SPEAKER_01]: it was going to be that was just looked like the,
[01:09:33] [SPEAKER_01]: a commentator, a commentator.
[01:09:35] [SPEAKER_01]: It was going to be like a base and then you could put the figures
[01:09:38] [SPEAKER_01]: at the context on it and the lights and sounds would happen.
[01:09:40] [SPEAKER_01]: It would look like they were fighting and you get the dialogue.
[01:09:42] [SPEAKER_01]: Like they had big plans and then all of that went out the window.
[01:09:45] [SPEAKER_01]: So they had to add in all these different play values.
[01:09:47] [SPEAKER_01]: So as I said, a lot of them had action features, right?
[01:09:49] [SPEAKER_01]: Sort of replicate what they did in the movie.
[01:09:51] [SPEAKER_01]: But some of the characters who weren't super active,
[01:09:54] [SPEAKER_01]: there was a collection one in collection two.
[01:09:55] [SPEAKER_01]: And collection one was like here the Jedi's are all going to have magnets
[01:09:58] [SPEAKER_01]: and lights over attacks and all these things.
[01:10:00] [SPEAKER_01]: Collection two was, let's take the characters who are kind of boring
[01:10:03] [SPEAKER_01]: and don't do anything and try to sell it like they're more exciting.
[01:10:06] [SPEAKER_01]: So Dexter Jester, my favorite character.
[01:10:08] [SPEAKER_01]: But not a very active one.
[01:10:09] [SPEAKER_01]: He's a graph guy and he talks, right?
[01:10:11] [SPEAKER_01]: He's cool.
[01:10:11] [SPEAKER_01]: You were cool.
[01:10:12] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
[01:10:13] [SPEAKER_01]: Coruscant and format.
[01:10:15] [SPEAKER_01]: What they did was they would for the characters who weren't active,
[01:10:20] [SPEAKER_01]: give them whatever props they would like,
[01:10:21] [SPEAKER_01]: would've had in the movie, but then also,
[01:10:24] [SPEAKER_01]: it like given like force blasts,
[01:10:26] [SPEAKER_01]: to make it look like they were active.
[01:10:28] [SPEAKER_01]: So Dexter Jester comes with the dart,
[01:10:31] [SPEAKER_01]: but also just comes with a couple knives he would use to chop up food.
[01:10:34] [SPEAKER_01]: But they have these weird like force blasts on them
[01:10:37] [SPEAKER_01]: to make him look like it's like an extreme active like,
[01:10:39] [SPEAKER_01]: oh he's chopping away.
[01:10:42] [SPEAKER_03]: What is a force?
[01:10:43] [SPEAKER_01]: Like it almost looks like a motion blur.
[01:10:45] [SPEAKER_01]: Like it's a blue table thing.
[01:10:46] [SPEAKER_01]: Oh right.
[01:10:47] [SPEAKER_01]: So to keep put that on the weapon and it would look like he's like,
[01:10:50] [SPEAKER_01]: oh, what in it?
[01:10:50] [SPEAKER_01]: Grassland.
[01:10:51] [SPEAKER_01]: I don't think it would though.
[01:10:52] [SPEAKER_01]: No, it doesn't at all.
[01:10:53] [SPEAKER_01]: It just looks like he's got like string tighter around.
[01:10:55] [SPEAKER_01]: Right.
[01:10:56] [SPEAKER_01]: Let me see if I can find the picture with.
[01:10:57] [SPEAKER_01]: This is the best segment of the podcast
[01:10:58] [SPEAKER_01]: because it allows me to show you pictures that no one can see.
[01:11:01] [SPEAKER_01]: What is the other thing?
[01:11:02] [SPEAKER_02]: It's like, okay.
[01:11:03] [SPEAKER_02]: Oh, that's so stupid.
[01:11:04] [SPEAKER_02]: It's just someone putting lightning around a knife
[01:11:06] [SPEAKER_02]: and make it look like it's moving.
[01:11:08] [SPEAKER_02]: It does look like lightning.
[01:11:08] [SPEAKER_02]: That's what it looks like.
[01:11:09] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
[01:11:10] [SPEAKER_01]: But he looks so stupid.
[01:11:11] [SPEAKER_01]: It's really them.
[01:11:13] [SPEAKER_01]: It's really them.
[01:11:14] [SPEAKER_01]: And as I had a wee make a,
[01:11:15] [SPEAKER_01]: just a fat guy who owns a dinosaur excited to kid.
[01:11:17] [SPEAKER_01]: Let's make it look like his knives.
[01:11:18] [SPEAKER_02]: He is a forearm giant frog man.
[01:11:21] [SPEAKER_01]: He looks like that.
[01:11:21] [SPEAKER_01]: Not excitement enough.
[01:11:22] [SPEAKER_01]: What is the thing if you like, maybe I mean look.
[01:11:25] [SPEAKER_01]: I loved it.
[01:11:25] [SPEAKER_01]: I was my fair character from the gag.
[01:11:26] [SPEAKER_01]: What's the other character?
[01:11:27] [SPEAKER_03]: He's also a restaurant tour.
[01:11:29] [SPEAKER_03]: That's true.
[01:11:30] [SPEAKER_03]: I mean, some kids want to be ships.
[01:11:32] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
[01:11:32] [SPEAKER_01]: Pretty cool stuff.
[01:11:35] [SPEAKER_01]: This, this is the one I'm very confused by.
[01:11:39] [SPEAKER_01]: I understand sometimes they want to add a little feature
[01:11:41] [SPEAKER_01]: making it work.
[01:11:42] [SPEAKER_01]: That wasn't a movie.
[01:11:43] [SPEAKER_01]: But this is going so far out of canon.
[01:11:46] [SPEAKER_01]: They made an action figure of boba boba boba boba.
[01:11:51] [SPEAKER_01]: Boba fat.
[01:11:51] [SPEAKER_01]: Boba.
[01:11:53] [SPEAKER_01]: Yes.
[01:11:54] [SPEAKER_01]: Django Fets.
[01:11:55] [SPEAKER_01]: The one who has the tragic end.
[01:11:57] [SPEAKER_01]: Right.
[01:11:58] [SPEAKER_01]: Django has the tragic end.
[01:11:59] [SPEAKER_01]: Well, in Boba picks up his head.
[01:12:01] [SPEAKER_01]: Right.
[01:12:01] [SPEAKER_01]: It's sad.
[01:12:02] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
[01:12:04] [SPEAKER_01]: Uh,
[01:12:04] [SPEAKER_01]: so Boba, the action figure.
[01:12:06] [SPEAKER_01]: Little Boba.
[01:12:07] [SPEAKER_01]: He's wearing like his poncho.
[01:12:09] [SPEAKER_01]: Like his ringslicker.
[01:12:10] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
[01:12:10] [SPEAKER_01]: Right.
[01:12:11] [SPEAKER_01]: But then the accessories he comes with
[01:12:14] [SPEAKER_01]: make no gosh darn sense.
[01:12:15] [SPEAKER_01]: Okay.
[01:12:16] [SPEAKER_01]: Boba fat comes with Django Fets helmet.
[01:12:20] [SPEAKER_01]: Sure.
[01:12:22] [SPEAKER_01]: Is that supposed to be his decabitated head?
[01:12:25] [SPEAKER_01]: It made me decabitated head.
[01:12:26] [SPEAKER_02]: Can pop up and look at it sadly.
[01:12:27] [SPEAKER_02]: But then he also has a lot of people pointed out.
[01:12:29] [SPEAKER_02]: It makes no sense that he picks up and that Django head doesn't just fall out of him.
[01:12:33] [SPEAKER_02]: That's the immediate thought.
[01:12:34] [SPEAKER_01]: Like, why is does he super glue the helmet on?
[01:12:37] [SPEAKER_01]: Why is the head standing?
[01:12:38] [SPEAKER_01]: It's not big about it.
[01:12:40] [SPEAKER_01]: He also comes with a rocket pack.
[01:12:43] [SPEAKER_01]: Like Django has with blast coming out of it.
[01:12:45] [SPEAKER_01]: Okay.
[01:12:45] [SPEAKER_01]: So he's basically just a young Django fat.
[01:12:47] [SPEAKER_01]: Give it this ever happens in the movie.
[01:12:49] [SPEAKER_01]: Look, Boba Fets are some nice kid.
[01:12:51] [SPEAKER_01]: Why are you saying, oh, let's put a helmet on and give me guns.
[01:12:53] [SPEAKER_02]: They're assuming an awful lot about Boba Fet that he's going to turn to a life of
[01:12:56] [SPEAKER_02]: bounty hunter crime.
[01:12:57] [SPEAKER_01]: The action figure company is.
[01:12:58] [SPEAKER_02]: I know it's insane.
[01:12:59] [SPEAKER_01]: There's nothing to support that within the body of the film.
[01:13:02] [SPEAKER_01]: Well, he's just some sad kid.
[01:13:03] [SPEAKER_01]: It doesn't have a dead.
[01:13:04] [SPEAKER_01]: There's a lot of expanded universe stuff.
[01:13:06] [SPEAKER_01]: You know?
[01:13:06] [SPEAKER_01]: But your informing kids play patterns now.
[01:13:09] [SPEAKER_01]: You're telling them, hey, you want to play a Boba Fet?
[01:13:11] [SPEAKER_01]: He's got guns.
[01:13:11] [SPEAKER_01]: He's got a rocket pack that snaps into his back.
[01:13:14] [SPEAKER_01]: You put the helmet on his head and now he's going to become like his dad, a degenerate
[01:13:17] [SPEAKER_01]: criminal who died in a line of battle.
[01:13:19] [SPEAKER_02]: You know, to be fair, do you?
[01:13:20] [SPEAKER_01]: You know, like I don't like that implication.
[01:13:22] [SPEAKER_01]: He's just a nice boy.
[01:13:23] [SPEAKER_01]: Let him live a nice life.
[01:13:25] [SPEAKER_01]: What were you going to say?
[01:13:26] [SPEAKER_02]: No, I'm not going to say it.
[01:13:27] [SPEAKER_02]: No, say it.
[01:13:28] [SPEAKER_02]: Well, I think the Mandalorian armor is looks like that.
[01:13:32] [SPEAKER_02]: It doesn't always mean your bounty hunter.
[01:13:34] [SPEAKER_02]: Okay, but still that helmet.
[01:13:36] [SPEAKER_01]: Maybe he doesn't.
[01:13:37] [SPEAKER_01]: I mean, look, his dad got so much money.
[01:13:40] [SPEAKER_01]: He's about to inherit all of that.
[01:13:42] [SPEAKER_01]: Go do one.
[01:13:43] [SPEAKER_01]: Everyone, everyone should just start a restaurant.
[01:13:47] [SPEAKER_01]: Everyone in this store can be a couple of times.
[01:13:48] [SPEAKER_01]: He could use a restaurant.
[01:13:49] [SPEAKER_01]: It could use a good restaurant.
[01:13:50] [SPEAKER_01]: Oh, geez.
[01:13:51] [SPEAKER_01]: Because they show the cafeteria and it looks really bad.
[01:13:54] [SPEAKER_01]: And it's like bland and thought on.
[01:13:55] [SPEAKER_03]: It's just the same food every time.
[01:13:57] [SPEAKER_03]: You know what he's eating?
[01:13:59] [SPEAKER_01]: It's it's jungle fet me.
[01:14:01] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, they just we got a few spares.
[01:14:03] [SPEAKER_02]: So let's try that one up.
[01:14:04] Yeah.
[01:14:05] [SPEAKER_02]: It's just a jungle.
[01:14:06] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, it's like if they're defective, like maybe it's like one in every 10,000.
[01:14:10] [SPEAKER_02]: Like, these missing an arm or something.
[01:14:11] [SPEAKER_02]: So like, all right, just turn that one into Slop.
[01:14:14] [SPEAKER_02]: All right.
[01:14:14] [SPEAKER_02]: Is there any other emerging things about like,
[01:14:16] [SPEAKER_02]: did you want it to show me?
[01:14:17] [SPEAKER_01]: Oh, no.
[01:14:18] [SPEAKER_01]: I mean, I think I did.
[01:14:19] [SPEAKER_01]: I did.
[01:14:19] [SPEAKER_01]: I did a good job.
[01:14:20] [SPEAKER_01]: Jocost and knew we're in the community.
[01:14:22] [SPEAKER_01]: She comes with a bust of Count II Cool as seen in the back
[01:14:24] [SPEAKER_01]: of the library.
[01:14:25] [SPEAKER_01]: Did they have like a band Amanda?
[01:14:27] [SPEAKER_01]: Did they have like a romance maybe?
[01:14:29] [SPEAKER_01]: Maybe that's implied.
[01:14:30] [SPEAKER_01]: I don't know.
[01:14:30] [SPEAKER_01]: Age appropriate.
[01:14:32] [SPEAKER_01]: Dexter Jester has lighting blaster around us.
[01:14:36] [SPEAKER_01]: And then Django fat comes with all these weapons.
[01:14:39] [SPEAKER_01]: What I'm saying is, I don't understand what they're getting out with these toys.
[01:14:42] [SPEAKER_01]: I don't even know if they know what they're getting at.
[01:14:44] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, they're just shooting in the dark.
[01:14:46] [SPEAKER_01]: The toy's just gotta be cool.
[01:14:47] [SPEAKER_01]: Gotta be cool.
[01:14:48] [SPEAKER_01]: Band final thoughts, it's your birthday.
[01:14:50] [SPEAKER_03]: Oh, man.
[01:14:51] [SPEAKER_03]: Well, kids, you know, try to enjoy your 20s
[01:14:55] [SPEAKER_03]: because it's all downhill from here.
[01:14:58] [SPEAKER_03]: I've been told 30s better than ever.
[01:15:00] [SPEAKER_01]: Oh, okay.
[01:15:01] [SPEAKER_01]: Have you, I mean, how have the last 16 hours of your life been?
[01:15:08] [SPEAKER_03]: I don't know.
[01:15:09] [SPEAKER_03]: Okay.
[01:15:10] [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
[01:15:11] [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
[01:15:11] [SPEAKER_03]: Really good.
[01:15:12] [SPEAKER_03]: I'm fine.
[01:15:13] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
[01:15:13] [SPEAKER_01]: I know you're feeling like the existential dread, but you also like,
[01:15:17] [SPEAKER_01]: I don't feel like it's going all right.
[01:15:18] [SPEAKER_01]: No, yeah.
[01:15:19] [SPEAKER_02]: Things are good.
[01:15:20] [SPEAKER_02]: Things are good.
[01:15:20] [SPEAKER_01]: You fucking producing a tack of the podcast.
[01:15:22] [SPEAKER_02]: That's true.
[01:15:23] [SPEAKER_02]: That's true.
[01:15:24] [SPEAKER_02]: David and Greg.
[01:15:24] [SPEAKER_01]: You know what?
[01:15:25] [SPEAKER_01]: Griffin and David presented.
[01:15:26] [SPEAKER_01]: I keep putting my name first.
[01:15:27] [SPEAKER_01]: I always actually put your name first too when I describe it to people.
[01:15:30] [SPEAKER_03]: You're right.
[01:15:31] [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
[01:15:31] [SPEAKER_03]: I should be looking up.
[01:15:33] [SPEAKER_03]: I mean, I'm producing this great Star Wars.
[01:15:36] [SPEAKER_03]: Funnest.
[01:15:37] [SPEAKER_03]: And you love Star Wars.
[01:15:38] [SPEAKER_03]: I, yeah.
[01:15:39] [SPEAKER_03]: It's great.
[01:15:40] [SPEAKER_01]: So good.
[01:15:41] [SPEAKER_01]: Two of your favorite movies.
[01:15:42] [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
[01:15:42] [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
[01:15:43] [SPEAKER_03]: Love them.
[01:15:43] [SPEAKER_03]: Yep.
[01:15:44] [SPEAKER_03]: That's so good.
[01:15:45] [SPEAKER_03]: But final thoughts.
[01:15:47] [SPEAKER_03]: I just, yeah.
[01:15:48] [SPEAKER_03]: Just did not deliver to not deliver.
[01:15:52] [SPEAKER_03]: If they're going to go for the detective thing, come on.
[01:15:55] [SPEAKER_03]: Like, yeah.
[01:15:55] [SPEAKER_03]: Go for it.
[01:15:56] [SPEAKER_03]: They do not invest.
[01:15:57] [SPEAKER_03]: The investigation were no.
[01:15:58] [SPEAKER_03]: Nothing's really answered.
[01:16:00] [SPEAKER_03]: Yes.
[01:16:00] [SPEAKER_01]: They give us bigger questions and then they just
[01:16:01] [SPEAKER_01]: so like, well, I guess we can never find out.
[01:16:03] [SPEAKER_01]: Right.
[01:16:04] [SPEAKER_01]: That's it.
[01:16:05] [SPEAKER_01]: And then when the army comes in at the end.
[01:16:07] [SPEAKER_01]: Oh, God, you're so lucky.
[01:16:08] [SPEAKER_01]: They've just had David just got a really cool card
[01:16:10] [SPEAKER_01]: in the Star Wars card trader app, which by the way,
[01:16:13] [SPEAKER_01]: continue sending us trades if you want.
[01:16:15] [SPEAKER_01]: I'm, I'm Griff Lightning.
[01:16:16] [SPEAKER_01]: I think I'm David, I'll soon believe so.
[01:16:19] [SPEAKER_01]: And Ben is not on it.
[01:16:21] [SPEAKER_03]: No.
[01:16:21] [SPEAKER_03]: Shocking.
[01:16:23] [SPEAKER_01]: But yeah, thanks for listening.
[01:16:25] [SPEAKER_02]: Oh, totally.
[01:16:25] [SPEAKER_02]: Thank you guys for listening.
[01:16:27] [SPEAKER_02]: We will see you next week.
[01:16:29] [SPEAKER_01]: Well, here we talk about your here at your here next week.

[01:16:36] [SPEAKER_01]: So as I talked about that once we go off mic,
[01:16:39] [SPEAKER_01]: yeah, and please continue to tweet at Timothy C.
[01:16:42] [SPEAKER_01]: Simon's please.
[01:16:43] [SPEAKER_01]: Is he getting Twitter abuse?
[01:16:44] [SPEAKER_01]: I don't know.
[01:16:45] [SPEAKER_01]: I hope he is.
[01:16:46] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
[01:16:46] [SPEAKER_01]: Me too.
[01:16:47] [SPEAKER_02]: I can do it with Twitter abuse.
[01:16:48] [SPEAKER_01]: He's a good man, but he's got to be taken down.
[01:16:51] [SPEAKER_01]: I've become such a taken people down of like, all right.
[01:16:55] [SPEAKER_01]: Tim's a great man, take him down a peg.
[01:16:57] [SPEAKER_01]: I'm fucking abused him on Twitter,
[01:16:58] [SPEAKER_01]: Tom to be on the podcast.
[01:17:00] [SPEAKER_01]: Great.
[01:17:00] [SPEAKER_01]: And as always, keep cloning demos.
